摘要： A lifting device includes a base comprising a horizontal portion for engagement with the bottom of an object to be lifted and a vertical portion for engagement with the side of the object. A handle is secured to the base and extends vertically upwardly from the vertical portion. A handle grip is mounted on the handle for selective engagement to impose an upwardly directive force on the handle and the base, thereby lifting an object mounted on the base in engagement with horizontal and vertical portions thereof. The handle grip may be selectively positioned or located vertically relative to the base. The handle grip may be tubular in construction to facilitate the receipt of a bar therethrough thereby facilitating lifting by multiple persons. The lifting device maybe provided with brackets, slots, apertures, and/or rings for receiving straps or ropes to secure objects to be lifted to the lifting device.

摘要： An apparatus for the making and breaking of a plug and socket connection within a hazardous environment by remote handling means includes at least one receiving bracket adapted to receive a positioning and retaining plate. The positioning and retaining plate has one of a plug and a socket fixed thereto in a predetermined orientation to permit making or breaking of a connection with the other of a plug and a socket. The at least one receiving bracket and the fixed plug or socket are movable in a direction parallel to the axis of the fixed plug or socket on slider means. The apparatus includes means for moving the at least one receiving bracket and the fixed plug or socket relative to the other of a plug and a socket which is fixed in a co-operating axial and rotational orientation thereto so as to make or break the connection. The at least one receiving bracket has means to permit the fixed plug or socket to be placed in or removed from the at least one receiving bracket by the remote handling means.

An output driver stage is connected to the first and second output lines for supplying first and second differential driven output signals to the first and second output lines, respectively. An integrated circuit can include a number of differential output circuits and a common bias circuit responsive to a single reference impedance element for generating the control signal value for controlling the impedance value of each active device.

A frame 16 comprised of a skirt 18 formed from lengths of angle iron and a plurality of legs also formed from lengths of angle iron supports the plate 12 in a substantially horizontal orientation above a workpiece. An implement 22 includes a first end for engaging the workpiece and a second end to be engaged with a hammer. The implement is further characterized by dimensions closely matched to those of the apertures formed in the plate. The plate 12positions the implement 22 in engagement with the workpiece and maintains the implement 22 in a substantially vertical orientation for engagement by an actuating hammer.

摘要： The present invention provides a detent mechanism adapted to be mounted on a container which is to contain one or more articles, notably CD cases, which container has an access aperture through which the article(s) can be inserted into or moved from the container. The detent mechanism is adapted to retain the article within the container and is formed from a mounting member adapted to be carried externally in the container, preferably at or adjacent the access aperture of the container. A latch member is adapted to be carried externally of the container by the mounting member and is movable between a retracted position at which at least the distal end of which is adapted to retain an article within the container. The latch member is also movable to a extended position in which latch member permits removal of the article through the access aperture by being located out of the line of travel of the article as the article is withdrawn from the container. A locking member, such as a spring loaded pin, is movable from an operative position at which it retains the latch member in its retracted position and an inoperative position in which it permits extension of the latch member.

摘要： A containing and baling device for paper, paper board or any other flat stock that is being contained for binding and baling purposes. The invention both, contains and obscures the flat stock material and allows for the easy binding or baling using the human arms and hands, or a tool equivalent, to transport or pass the binding medium under and around the flat stock without in any way lifting, moving or removing it from the container during the binding and baling operation. The bound bales are removed from the invention and the device can be reused indefinitely. The invention utilizes one of three lid designs. The lid functions to both further obscure the flat stock accumulation and offer a utilitarian horizontal surface so that the invention can be used as a work surface or as a furniture item such as an end table or coffee table in the closed position. The device is designed so that paper or flat-stock products can be introduced into the device with the lids in the closed position.

C. in excess of 10 g/100 g. water; ande) water;the relative proportions of said alcohol and said glycol being in the weight ratio of about 1:2 to 2:1 and the combined amount of said alcohol and said glycol present in said composition being in the range of from about 1 to less than about 7 wt. %.In the more preferred embodiment of the invention, the composition further contains an insect repelling amount of at least one insect repellent selected from the group consisting of alkyl or alkaryl amides having from about 5 to 16 carbon atoms.The compositions of the invention provide clear, stable pine oil dispersions at pine oil concentrations of up to about 25 wt. % which do not separate or cloud up after periods of storage and which have a very low content of volatile organic compounds.
