Abstract: A fluid ejection device includes a fluid slot, a fluid ejection chamber communicated with the fluid slot, a drop ejecting element within the fluid ejection chamber, a fluid circulation channel communicated at one end with the fluid slot and communicated at another end with the fluid ejection chamber, a fluid circulating element within the fluid circulation channel, and a channel wall separating the fluid ejection chamber and the fluid circulation channel. The fluid circulation channel includes a channel loop, and a width of the channel wall is based on a width of the channel loop and a width of the fluid ejection chamber.

Abstract: In an example implementation, a method of microfluidic filtering includes activating a first fluid pump within a microfluidic channel to cause a forward flow of fluid through the microfluidic channel and through a filter of a filter loop. The filter loop intersects the microfluidic channel at a loop entry and at a loop exit. The method includes activating a second fluid pump to cause a reverse flow of fluid through the filter.

The recirculation channels can be asymmetrical with reference to the drop generator.

Abstract: A microfluidic mixing device comprises a main channel and a number of secondary channels extending from a portion of the main channel and entering another portion of the main channel. A number of actuators are located in the secondary channels to pump fluids through the secondary channels. A microfluidic mixing system comprises a microfluidic mixing device. The microfluidic mixing device comprises a main fluid mixing channel, a number of main channel actuators to pump fluid through the main fluid mixing channel, a number of secondary channels fluidly coupled to the main fluid mixing channel, and a number of secondary channel actuators to pump fluids through the secondary channels. The microfluidic mixing device also comprises a fluid source, and a control device to provide fluids from the fluid source to the microfluidic mixing device and activate the main channel actuators and secondary channel actuators.
