摘要： An internal power supply auxiliary circuit supplies a current to a power generator circuit. A pulse signal generator receives an input signal and outputs a first control signal. A driver circuit connected to the pulse signal generator receives the first control signal, an external supply voltage and a source voltage, and generates a drive pulse signal. A current supply driver circuit receives the drive pulse signal and the external supply voltage and outputs the supply current to the power generator circuit. A gate voltage regulator circuit connected to the driver circuit receives a reference voltage and produces the source voltage. The gate voltage regulator causes the source voltage to substantially match the reference voltage so that the current supplied to the power generator circuit does not exceed a predetermined value.

摘要： In the coordinate detection of resistive film system, detection of the coordinates of simultaneously designated two points is made possible. On a touch panel composed of two conductive films, whether input is made in a point or simultaneously at two points is judged by a current monitor. Simultaneous inputs at two points decrease the apparent resistance of the conductive film, and can be detected by an increase in the current. If the input of a point is identified, the coordinate data of the input point are retained as latest coordinate data in a RAM. If simultaneous inputs at two points are identified, coordinate data are obtained from the coordinate data retained in the RAM and from the potentials in the x and y directions, obtained from two conductive films constituting a touch panel, through amplifiers, and are outputted, together with the coordinate data retained in the RAM, as the coordinate data of the two points.

摘要： A coordinate input apparatus having a stable and good input sense irrespective of different input conditions such as a vibration input position, a pen pressure and a pen angle. The coordinate input apparatus acquires an input coordinate in accordance with a delay time required for vibration input from a vibration input pen to a vibration propagation plate to reach a vibration sensor. A controller of the apparatus drives the vibration input pen at a first drive level. A window signal generator of the apparatus generates a window signal indicating that a significant signal was detected, when the level of an envelope detected from a signal supplied from the vibration sensor exceeds a detection threshold value. In accordance with the window signal, delay times tp and tg are acquired. A level discriminator of the apparatus judges whether the level of the envelope exceeds a discrimination threshold value. If it is judged that the level exceeds the discrimination threshold value, the controller drives the vibration input pen at a second drive level lower than the first drive level to acquire the delay times tp and tg.

The block control circuits supply a precharge signals to their associated cell blocks. A block control circuit which is connected to a defective cell block generates a precharge signal having a precharge level of the bit lines and a reset level of the word lines in accordance with an access condition of the defective cell block. The block control circuit sets the precharge signal to the precharge level when the defective cell block is activated and to the reset level when it is deactivated.

摘要： Continuity of coordinates between areas of a coordinate input surface which is divided into a plurality of areas is maintained. In inputting "A, B, C" on a coordinate input plate, when an input operation is started from an initial point, area is determined as an input area, and vibration delay times are measured by using sensors, thereby calculating a coordinate value. When the input operation is continued up to a terminal point, the input point shifts to area. However, vibrations are detected by using the same sensors to calculate a coordinate value as long as the input operation is continuously performed. With this operation, since sensors are not changed for the respective areas, discontinuity of lines at the boundaries between the areas can be prevented.
