摘要: Systems and methods for flexible conveyance in an assembly-line or manufacturing process are disclosed. A fleet of self-driving vehicles and a fleet-management system can be used to convey workpieces through a sequence of workstations at which operations are performed in order to produce a finished assembly. An assembly can be transported to a first workstation using a self-driving vehicle, where an operation is performed on the assembly. Subsequently, the assembly can be transported to a second workstation using the self-driving vehicle. The operation can be performed on the assembly while it is being conveyed by the self-driving vehicle.

The AGV includes a movable gantry provided with automated robot. The robot has interchangeable end effectors for carrying out the surface treatments. Travel of the AGV relative to structure is controlled by a ground guidance system.

摘要: An assembly carrying vehicle running control system, includes a plurality of assembly carrying vehicles, a control apparatus, and a plurality of access points connected with said control apparatus and provided for said plurality of assembly carrying vehicles. Each of the plurality of access points has a communication area. When each of the plurality of assembly carrying vehicles is individually in the communication area of a currently communicating access point of the plurality of access points, the assembly carrying vehicle transmits an operation status data indicative of an operation status to the control apparatus through the currently communicating access point. The control apparatus determines an operation control instruction based on the operation status data to transmit to the assembly carrying vehicle. The assembly carrying vehicle receives the operation control instruction from the control apparatus through the currently communicating access point such that an operation of the assembly carrying vehicle is controlled based on the operation control instruction.

The equipment inspection system compares the captured data to a model describing an expected state of the equipment. The equipment inspection system determines, based on the comparison, that the equipment differs from the expected state. The equipment inspection system may transmit data describing the current state of the equipment to an equipment manager. The equipment manager may schedule maintenance for the equipment based on the current state of the equipment.

摘要: A car wash vehicle conveyor system including a lower track, an upper track, and an intermediate track positioned between the lower and upper tracks. The upper track includes laterally spaced and parallel raised portions. An endless chain extends around the lower track and the intermediate track. The endless chain is connected around at least one drive sprocket so that rotation of the at least one drive sprocket results in lateral movement of the endless chain around the lower and intermediate tracks. A plurality of push roller assemblies are attached to the endless chain. Each push roller assembly is sized so that, when the push roller assembly is directed onto the upper track, the corresponding rollers travel along the upper track between the raised portions. In embodiments, the conveyor system is part of an automated car wash system.

摘要: Described herein are an apparatus and a method for controlling movement of a vehicle along a transportation path. The method includes receiving, by circuitry of an information processing apparatus, first marker information that is generated based on a first marker being detected by the vehicle, wherein the first marker being one of a plurality of markers located at predetermined positions. The circuitry further determines a second marker of the plurality of markers to which the vehicle is to be moved from the first marker and thereafter generates first control information to control movement of the vehicle from the first marker to the second marker based on the first marker information and pre-determined navigation information associated with the first marker, wherein the predetermined navigation information indicates the location of the second marker relative to the first marker. The circuitry further transmits the first control system station information to the vehicle.
