Abstract:
A method for and apparatus for performing data transmission in a wireless communication system is provided. A wireless device performs a radio resource control (RRC) connection procedure with a macro cell having a first frequency, performs a radio resource management (RRM) measurement on a small cell having a second frequency or a third frequency, and reporting a result of the RRM measurement to the macro cell; and receives data via the second frequency or the third frequency of the TP, the data is consecutive data relayed from an initial transmission of the macro cell, wherein the macro cell and the small cell are connected with a fast backhaul by using air interface.
Abstract:
Provided are a communication method of a terminal in a wireless communication system and the terminal using the method. The method comprises: receiving a cell state signal from a small cell; and communicating with the small cell on the basis of the cell state signal, wherein the cell state signal includes information indicating the switching of the small cell to an off-state.
Abstract:
A method for and apparatus for performing a measurement in a wireless communication system is provided. A wireless device determines information about a measurement type, the measurement type indicating one of a first measurement object and a second measurement object and performs measurement using a measurement signal at subframe(s) configured in the measurement object indicated by the measurement type. The measurement signal includes one of a discovery signal, a measurement reference signal (MRS) and a cell-common RS (CRS).
Abstract:
A method for and apparatus for supporting a control plane (C-plane) and user plane (U-plane) in a wireless communication system supporting multiple carriers is provided. A wireless device receives a signal to initiate inter-frequency measurement from a macro cell, performs the inter-frequency measurement, and determines to configure a small cell for data transmission based on the inter-frequency measurement. And, this invention includes that a C-Plane and a U-Plane split over different carriers are existed and operated more accurately and efficiently.
Abstract:
A method for cancelling interference performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes transmitting an interference information request and Interference Cancellation (IC) scheme information to a serving Base Station (BS), receiving from the serving BS interference information determined according to the interference information request and the IC scheme information, and cancelling interference using the interference information. The IC scheme information may be transmitted when the terminal is to transmit the interference information request and an Interference to Noise power Ratio (INR) exceeds a threshold.
Abstract:
Provided are a method for cell selection for a narrowband terminal and an apparatus using same. A narrowband terminal receives a wireless frame comprising a first synchronous signal for a user equipment supporting a first bandwidth, and a second synchronous signal for a user equipment supporting a second bandwidth which is narrower than the first bandwidth. The narrowband terminal searches at least one neighboring cell on the basis of the second synchronous signal. The narrowband terminal selects at least one cell from among one or more neighboring cells.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for monitoring downlink control information (DCI) in a wireless communication system, especially in a new radio access technology (NR) is provided. A user equipment (UE) monitors first DCI having a first size in a UE specific search space (USS). The first size is determined based on an active bandwidth part (BWP). The UE further monitors second DCI having a second size in a common search space (CSS). The second size is determined based on a default BWP.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for performing an initial access procedure in a wireless communication system is provided. A low cost user equipment (UE) transmits a list of capabilities to a network, and receives a reject message from the network when at least one of the capabilities is not supported by the network. The list of capabilities may be transmitted during a random access procedure via a random access preamble on a physical random access channel (PRACH) or a lmessage 3 on a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH). The reject message may be received during the random access procedure a random access response or an acknowledge message for the message 3.
Abstract:
A user equipment (UE) for receiving information on a length of a reference signal (RS) sequence and information on an offset of the RS sequence and performing an RS sequence mapping to map the RS sequence to a physical resource block 0 (PRB0) of the UE within a bandwidth part (BWP) based on the length of the RS sequence and the offset of the RS sequence. The UE also transmits, to the network, the RS sequence.
Abstract:
A method of determining a slot format in a wireless communication system, where the method is performed by a user equipment (UE) and includes: receiving, from a network, slot format information informing a first slot format for a plurality of normal symbols that are arranged within a period of time, wherein each of the plurality of normal symbols includes a normal cyclic prefix (CP). The method further includes: based on the received slot format information informing the first slot format, determining a second slot format for a plurality of extended symbols that are arranged within the period of time, wherein each of the plurality of extended symbols includes an extended CP.
