Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communications and, more particularly, to ultra low-power paging frames for wake up and discovery. One example apparatus for wireless communications generally includes at least one interface configured to receive via a first radio and a second radio, wherein the at least one interface receives a paging frame from another apparatus via the second radio while the first radio is in a first power state that is lower than a second power state of the second radio; and a processing system configured to take one or more actions based on a command field included in the paging frame.

Abstract: An apparatus for wireless communication includes data generation logic configured to generate data to be transmitted to an access point and to determine that a size of the data exceeds a size of a first transmit opportunity (TX_OP). The apparatus includes data fragmentation logic configured to generate at least a first data fragment and a second data fragment based on the data, where a size of the first data fragment is selected based on the size of the first TX_OP. The apparatus further includes a wireless interface configured to transmit, during the first TX_OP, a first data packet to the access point, the first data packet including the first data fragments.

Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a computer-readable medium for wireless communication are provided. In one aspect, the apparatus is configured to measure an energy level of a transmission channel. The apparatus is configured to compare the measured energy level to a first threshold energy level. The first threshold energy level corresponds to a first state of the transmission channel. The apparatus is configured to determine whether to transmit data in the transmission channel based on the comparison. The apparatus is configured to reduce a transmission power of the apparatus and transmit the data in the transmission channel at the reduced transmission power when the measured energy level is greater than the first threshold energy level.

Abstract: A wireless device may dynamically activate and/or inactivate wireless links for multi-link communications. A transmitting wireless device may indicate one or more wireless links to be activated by a receiving wireless device to receive subsequent multi-link transmissions. The indication may be sent over an anchor wireless link, such that the receiving wireless device may monitor the anchor wireless link, with other wireless links in an inactive or low power state, until an indication is received to activate additional wireless links. The receiving wireless device may then activate wireless links identified by the received indication, and receive data from the transmitting device via the multiple links. The activated wireless links may be inactivated upon expiration of a time duration or upon receiving a second indication to inactivate the active links. That is, indications communicated over an anchor wireless channel may identify other wireless links to be activated, inactivated, or maintained.

Abstract: A method for arranging media access control protocol data units (MPDUs) includes generating a multi-destination aggregated media access control protocol data unit (MD-AMPDU) at an access point. The MD-AMPDU includes a first set of one or more MPDUs having a first receive address associated with a first station and a second set of one or more MPDUs having a second receive address associated with a second station. The first set of one or more MPDUs is grouped together in the MD-AMPDU and the second set of one or more MPDUs is grouped together in the MD-AMPDU. The method also includes transmitting the MD-AMPDU to the first station and to the second station via an Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 802.11 wireless network.

Abstract: A method for confirming receipt of an aggregated data frame containing one or more decoding errors is disclosed. A wireless device receives the aggregated data frame from another device over a wireless channel, determines a transmit duration of the aggregated data frame, and defers access to the channel for a time period selected as either an EIFS duration or a DIFS duration based, at least in part, on the transmit duration, and then transmits a block acknowledgement frame to the other device after the time period.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are described for signaling soft time division multiplexing (TDM) assignment information in an enhanced distributed channel access (EDCA) operation. The soft TDM assignment may be sent to one or more nodes of a group of nodes to communicate with indicated priority access parameters during at least one of a plurality of time slots. The soft TDM assignment may also convey one or more backoff operation rules to at least one of the one or more nodes. Further, primary and secondary non-concurrent nodes may be identified and a signal sent to the secondary node for it to communicate, at a different priority than the primary node, during at least one of a plurality of non-concurrent time slots the primary node is communicating during.
