Abstract: A device for guiding air for an air conditioning system of a motor vehicle. The air conditioning system includes air outlets. The device is designed so that it encloses a volume and within the volume at least one air channel extending continuously from an inlet to an outlet is formed. The device is arranged in such a way that can be shifted in a continuously variable manner in a direction between two end positions, wherein the device in the end positions in each case closes an air outlet.The device may be arranged in an air conditioning system for a motor vehicle with means for conveying, for cooling and for heating an air mass flow, including a housing with a mixing chamber, in which the device for guiding air is arranged.

Abstract: A folded tube for a heat exchanger is disclosed. The tube includes first and second ends for connection to first and second headers of the heat exchanger. An outer wall of the tube provides at least two channels for carrying a heat exchange fluid between the first and second headers. At least one seam is formed in the outer wall extending the length of the tube, the seam including a pair of opposed flanges extending into the tube to form the two channels, the outer wall joined together along the seam. The tube further includes a first end region and a second end region, and an intermediate region. The tube flattened along its length to form at least two flattened lobes, each lobe including one of the channels, and the lobes in the intermediate region being flatter than the lobes in at least one of the end regions.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a scroll compressor in which refrigerant is compressed in a compression chamber while the volume of the compression chamber is gradually decreased due to relative rotation of a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll. In accordance with the disclosure, the scroll compressor is provided in which a pressure in a back-pressure chamber is managed in connection with a discharge refrigerant pressure so that the orbiting scroll is supported by the pressure in the back-pressure chamber without a power loss or an inner leak in an overall pressure section of a scroll.

Abstract: The invention relates to an air conditioning system for a motor vehicle, with at least two coolant circuits as well as a refrigerant circuit. The refrigerant circuit comprises a compressor for the compression of the refrigerant, a heat exchanger for the cooling and liquefying of the compressed refrigerant, an expansion device, and a heat exchanger for the evaporation of the two-phase refrigerant. The heat exchangers are designed as coolant-refrigerant heat exchangers in each case for the heat transfer between the refrigerant circuit and at least one of the coolant circuits. The refrigerant circuit is moreover constructed with a heat exchanger for the heat exchange between the refrigerant and an air mass flow to be supplied to the passenger compartment of the motor vehicle as well as with an element, arranged downstream of the heat exchanger in the flow direction of the refrigerant, for changing the throughflow cross section.

Abstract: An air conditioner for a vehicle and a method of controlling the air conditioner to variably control a position of a rear seat cold air control door depending on a position of a front seat temperature-adjusting door. The position of the rear seat cold air control door is controlled according to rear seat air-conditioning modes (rear seat temperature-adjusting modes). In an air-conditioning case, the rear seat cold air control door is mounted on a rear seat air passageway, thereby distributing an optimal volume of cold air to the front seat air passageway and the rear seat air passageway by preventing a large volume of cold air from being supplied to the rear seat air passageway in the rear seat temperature-adjusting mode, securing linearity of temperature discharged to the rear seat.

The flow conduit extends through the bypass, wherein the warm air flow is separated from a warm air flow through the flow conduit by the wall of the flow conduit. The bypass is formed in a bipartite manner around the flow conduit.
