Abstract: A device for treating a tissue opening includes a proximal portion including an elongated flexible member, a capsule releasably coupled to a distal end of the flexible member and including a lumen extending therethrough and a clip including a pair of arms movably housed within the capsule. A suture extending along a first one of the pair of arms and including a loop at a distal end thereof extending across an opening extending through the first one of the pair of arms. A suture grabbing element extending laterally from a second one of the pair of arms and including a hook so that, when the pair of arms are moved toward a closed configuration, the hook extends through the opening to grab the loop and draw the distal end of the suture from the first one of the pair of arms toward the second one of the pair of arms.

Abstract: Drive systems and methods of use are disclosed herein for performing medical procedures on a patient. The drive systems include various handle types and triggers for controlling catheters and end effectors. The various handle types include a flexible handle and ambidextrous handles that can alter the handedness of the handle for particularized use. The handles drive articulation sections of the catheter and end effectors with various degrees of freedom, and include locks for holding the catheter and/or end effector in place. The catheter systems include structures for allowing degrees of freedom, such as notches, mechanical interlocks, and articulation joints. In addition, the catheters articulate via cables or fluids.

Abstract: A system for implantation of a stent in a body lumen may include an elongate tubular member having a lumen extending therein, a stent configured to shift from a delivery configuration to a deployed configuration, and an adhesive structure configured to secure the stent to the body lumen in the deployed configuration. The stent may be disposed within the lumen of the elongate tubular member in the delivery configuration. The adhesive structure may be disposed within the lumen of the elongate tubular member adjacent the stent in a substantially inert state. The adhesive structure may be configured to adhere to the stent and the body lumen after the stent and the adhesive structure are deployed into the body lumen from the lumen of the elongate tubular member.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the field of tissue dissection. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to medical devices that lift and retract tissue during a dissection procedure to improve visualization of the target tissue and mitigate obstructions for dissection tools. In particular, the present disclosure relates to devices that transition from a constrained to an unconstrained bowed configuration to immobilize and retract the dissected portion of target tissue during a dissection procedure.

Abstract: A tissue traction device, system, and method presenting a grasping rail for coupling with a portion of a target tissue at a treatment site to apply a force, such as traction, to the grasped tissue, such as to facilitate performance of a procedure on the target tissue. A tissue traction device, system, and method having a distal support element, a proximal support element, and at least one expansion element extending therebetween. The at least one expansion element is extendable to define a working area for a procedure to be formed on target tissue at a treatment site. Two or more expansion elements may define a working area unimpeded by the expansion elements. The distal support element may be expandable to anchor the tissue traction device with respect to tissue.

Abstract: The present disclosure, in its various aspects, is directed to expandable guide devices, implementation methods, and related systems. In one example, an expandable guide device is configured to receive an instrument through an instrument lumen of the device. Each of a plurality of expandable members are disposed circumferentially about a body of the device that defines the instrument lumen, and each expandable member is configured to be independently transitionable between an expanded configuration and an unexpanded configuration.
