Abstract: A method and system for communications roaming discloses that end subscribers apply for numbers provided by roaming networks, connect their numbers in local networks to roaming network ones and then store them in the database in Global Roaming Interface Agent (GRIA). When a called number is dialed, the calling communications network first determines if the calling number or the called number belongs to a number in local network. If no, the calling network sends Global Roaming Interface Agent a request to search and check if the number in roaming network is stored under the calling number or the called number; if yes, the corresponding calling number or called number in roaming network will be used as the number for communication. Taking the technical solution from this invention, a flexible and low-cost global roaming communications system can be achieved by binding subscribers' multiple numbers to establish a uniform end-subscriber communications interface.

Abstract: A system and method for producing a scaffold coated and/or impregnated with at least one bioactive agent. This is accomplished by culturing at least one cell in the same medium as a scaffold, but without physical contact between the at least one cell and the scaffold. The system includes a container having a surface defining an interior compartment. A medium is disposed within the interior compartment. At least one cell is disposed within the medium, the at least one cell being capable of producing at least one bioactive agent. Further, a scaffold is disposed within the medium. The scaffold is physically separated from the at least one cell such that there is no contact between the scaffold and the at least one cell. Thus, as the at least one cell produces at least one bioactive agent, such as a growth factor, the at least one bioactive agent enters the medium, and contacts and coats and/or impregnates the scaffold. However, due to the physical separation of the scaffold and at least one cell, the at least one cell is prevented from contacting and coating and/or impregnating the scaffold. Thus, only the desired bioactive agent or agents coat and/or impregnate the scaffold.

Abstract: The present invention is drawn to an encapsulated pigment. The pigment can be encapsulated by both a first polymer layer and a second polymer layer, with the second polymer layer encapsulating the first polymer layer and/or the pigment. The first polymer layer can have less than 2 wt % polymerized acid monomer. The second polymer layer is more hydrophilic than the first polymer layer, and is present at a weight ratio of first polymer layer to second polymer layer of greater than about 1.5:1. Methods of forming an encapsulated pigment are also presented.
