    摘要: An exhaust timing control apparatus for two-cycle engines of the type having one or more exhaust ports extending outwardly from the cylinder. A valve body is pivotally mounted within the exhaust passage in a recess specifically provided therefore. The valve has a control surface approaching the cylinder to define an apparent upper timing edge of the exhaust port. Holes are provided through the valve body for flow to operate to inhibit the build up of carbon deposits which often inhibit the operation of the valve. An inclined surface may be formed on the surface of the valve body to facilitate the removal of carbon. Edges may also be provided on the valve body which cooperate with the walls of the recess in the exhaust passage to knock off carbon build up such that it might be conveyed through the exhaust pipe and from the system.

    摘要: A remote control apparatus in which a plurality of loads, assigned to a plurality of load stations, can be individually addressed via a single signal line without the use of complex multiplexing and demultiplexing circuitry. A pulse generator outputs bursts of pulses of a predetermined width onto a single signal line which interconnects all load stations. Each load in the system corresponds to a single respective one of the pulses of the burst. Each load station includes a switching device for selectively shortening selected ones of the pulses. Each load is activated in dependence upon the width of its corresponding pulse.

    摘要: A two-cycle engine includes a port timing control device for varying a timing of the opening of an exhaust port by a piston. The port timing control means includes a first valve mounted within an exhaust passage adjacent to an upper end of the exhaust port and having a port timing control surface, a second valve mounted on a cylinder block between a cylinder head and the first valve and having a closure surface, and an urging member acting on the second valve to always urge it against the first valve. The first valve is operable to be angularly moved about an axis generally perpendicular to the axis of a cylinder into and out of an extended position where the control surface is disposed slightly below the upper end of the exhaust port to close a part of the exhaust port. The second valve is movable along a generally straight path into and out of an extended position where the closure surface closes that portion of the exhaust port lying between the upper end of the exhaust port and the first valve. The second valve is movable in synchronism with the angular movement of the first valve through the urging member.

A drive unit vertically raises or lowers the bed in response to a vertical movement command issued by a control unit. A flow stop command is issued for stopping the operation of an air compressor, which floats the beads, when the vertical movement command is generated. The vertical movement command is inhibited during a predetermined interval after the command has been generated in order for the flow of compressed air to stop to allow the beads to come to rest before the bed is raised or lowered.
