Abstract:
A heat exchanger having an adsorbing core is advantageously applied to a refrigerating system mounted on an automotive vehicle. The adsorbing core absorbs heat from coolant and gives heat to the coolant thereby to perform heat-exchanging operation. The adsorbing core is composed of a heat exchanging member such as tubes or fins of the heat exchanger and a attracting layer connected to the surface of the heat exchanging member. A seed crystal retaining layer is firmly connected to the surface of the heat exchanging member, and the attractant crystals forming the attractant layer are grown on the seed crystals by a hydrothermal crystal growth method. Since the attracting layer is uniformly formed and firmly connected to the surface of the heat exchanging member, heat is quickly transferred between the attractant layer and the heat exchanging member.

A key is an indispensable component parts of an acoustic or electronic keyboard musical instrument, and key balancers are embedded in the key for varying the moment exerted on the key; the key balancers are fastened to the key by means of an anchor so that the key balancers are neither chattered in nor dropped out from the key.
Abstract:
An electronic paper printer is provided that is capable of describing display patterns properly and definitely on rewritable electronic paper. An electronic paper printer 1 has a describing head 3 for describing display patterns on electronic paper 2 capable of having display patterns rewritten thereto and erased therefrom, using electrophoresis, an erasing head 4 for erasing display patterns described on the electronic paper 2, a drive mechanism (not shown) for driving the describing head 3 and the erasing head 4 so that they turn, and a conveyor mechanism (not shown) for conveying the electronic paper 2. The describing head 3 is configured by a pair of drums 31 and 32 supported so that they freely turn. The erasing head 4 is configured by a pair of drums 41 and 42 supported so that they freely turn.
Abstract:
A 525i (interlace) signal can be converted into a 1050i signal or a 525p (progressive) signal. A calculating circuit generates pixels of an output picture signal with a linear estimation expression of predictive taps received from a tap selecting circuit and a coefficient received from a coefficient memory. The coefficient memory stores coefficients pre-obtained for individual classes. A class is determined by combining a spatial class corresponding to spatial class taps received from a tap selecting circuit and motion class taps received from a tap selecting circuit. A line sequential converting circuit converts a scanning line structure of an output signal of the calculating circuit 34 and obtains an output picture signal. The output picture signal is designated with a conversion method selection signal. Information corresponding to the selection signal is loaded from an information memory bank to the coefficient memory and registers.
Abstract:
An electrophoretic display using electrophoretic ink is configured by a transparent substrate, a common electrode, pixel electrodes, and thin-film transistors. An electrophoretic ink layer, which is arranged between the common electrode and pixel electrodes, is actualized by a linear arrangement of microcapsules each of which contains negatively charged white particles dispersed in a liquid having a specific color. All the pixel electrodes are simultaneously set to the low electric potential while the common electrode is set to the high electric potential so that the display content is erased from the entire area of the display surface at once, and then the pixel electrodes are driven respectively in response to display data while the common electrode is set to the low electric potential so that the display content is rewritten with a new one in response to the display data.
Abstract:
An advertising device includes a projection unit that houses an optical engine that emits projection light; and a display unit provided with screen panels that display an image when the projection light is projected from a rear surface side thereof. The projection unit and the display unit are separably integrated. Thereby, the maintenance and replacement of damaged parts can be applied with both units divided. Accordingly, these operations can be readily carried out.
Abstract:
A picture information converting apparatus for generating a plurality of output picture signals. The apparatus includes first data selecting means; second data selecting means; memory means for storing a pre-obtained estimation expression coefficient; pixel value generating means for generating the first pixel with the second pixels selected by the first data selecting means and a linear estimation expression of the estimation expression coefficient; class determining means for generating class information corresponding to the third pixels selected by the second data selecting means and supplying the estimation expression coefficient to the pixel value generating means corresponding to the class information; scanning line structure converting means, connected to the pixel value generating means, for converting a conversion picture to a designated scanning line structure; and controlling means for receiving a control signal that designates a scanning line structure of the output picture signal and for switching over at least one of the estimation expression coefficient, the second pixels selected by the first data selecting means and the third pixels selected by the second data selecting means, corresponding to the control signal.
Abstract:
A memory IC includes a first substrate (substrate on the transfer destination side), and memory cell arrays deposited on the first substrate. The memory cell arrays are deposited from the bottom up by a method for transferring a thin film configuration. The transferring method includes the steps of forming a thin film device layer (memory cell array) on a second substrate with a separable layer therebetween, and irradiating the separable layer with light to cause a separation in the separable layer and/or at an interface so that the thin film device layer on the second substrate is transferred to the first substrate.
