Abstract: A mixed solution in which a compound which forms a nonvolatile membrane at a gas-liquid interface through self-aggregation is dispersed in a volatile liquid, is ejected and atomized in a gas or in a vacuum to produce a droplet particle, and a nonvolatile membrane is then formed at the gas-liquid interface by aligning the compound on a surface of the droplet particle having a reduced diameter due to evaporation of the volatile liquid in the gas or in the vacuum to stabilize the droplet particle. The method produces a novel droplet particle which stably exists in a gas or in a vacuum without collapsing or without evaporation of the volatile liquid inside the droplet particle.

Abstract: It aims to construct a technology in which the onset or progression of an aging state or a specific disease can be evaluated in an objective and highly reproducible manner, and in particular, to provide a method of detecting conjunctival diseases such as conjunctival MALT lymphoma, and to provide an aging biomarker that serves as an indicator of the aging state.
A method of detecting a conjunctival disease using an ocular surface tissue, the method comprising a step of comparing a microbial community structure of a microbiota included in an ocular surface tissue specimen sampled from a healthy person, with a microbial community structure of a microbiota included in an ocular surface tissue specimen sampled from a subject to detect an ocular surface tissue specimen which is sampled from the subject evaluated as having the conjunctival disease based on a change in the microbial community structure between the healthy person and the subject, and an aging biomarker for detecting an aging state, the aging biomarker comprising a bacterial species which belongs to at least one family selected from Corynebacteriaceae family and Propionibacteriales family in an ocular surface tissue.-

Abstract: A container has a sample installation unit and an NMR circuit therein, and is connected to a bearing gas supply path and a drive gas supply path for supplying gas to the inside of that container. This container is also connected to an exhaust path that exhausts the gas from the inside of the container. The exhaust path has a pressure control valve as an adjustment mechanism for adjusting the pressure in the container.

Abstract: A sustained release sheet that includes a drug for treating nerve injury, wherein the sheet is applied to a nerve injury site, can maintain a high concentration of the drug over a long period, and promotes nerve regeneration without stimulating the nerves, even when the sheet is implanted in the periphery of the nerve injury site. Also provided is a production method for the sheet. This sustained drug release sheet for treating nerve injury is a sheet including a non-woven fabric that is formed from nanofibers each containing a drug such as vitamin B12 and a biocompatible polymer such as a biodegradable aliphatic polyester, and is implanted in the periphery of the nerve injury site to promote nerve regeneration.

Abstract: Any one or both of an optical system with a structured lighting pattern and a structured detecting system having a plurality of regions with different optical characteristics are used. In addition, optical signals from an object to be observed through one or a small number of pixel detectors are detected while changing relative positions between the object to be observed and any one of the optical system and the detecting system, time series signal information of the optical signals are obtained, and an image associated with an object to be observed from the time series signal information is reconstructed.
