Abstract:
An image handling apparatus is disclosed, including an operation panel, hardware resources, a transferring part, and an image generation controlling part. The transferring part transfers image handle information input at the input screen to an external apparatus. The image generation controlling part receives and parses image generation information for at least one of the hardware resources to execute an image generation based on the image handle information, from the external apparatus in response to an instruction of the image generation, so that at least one of the hardware resources executes the image generation.
Abstract:
In at least one embodiment of the disclosure, a method of transmitting image data from an image supplying device to an image display device includes transmitting information indicating a resolution of the image display device from the image display device to the image supplying device; scaling the image data, by the image supplying device, to decrease an amount of the image data by reducing an image based on the information indicating the resolution of the image display device; and transmitting the scaled image data from the image supplying device to the image display device.
Abstract:
A network includes a server that is operable to login a user of a wireless digital image capturing device. The server receives image information from the wireless digital image capturing device and formats the image information based on a template associated with a destination.
Abstract:
This invention provides a first communication apparatus, which makes a facsimile communication via a packet communication network and can describe different contents image header information each including a date, time, source information, destination information, and the like in image data having a predetermined number of pixels upon sending the image data to a plurality of destinations, and a communication method. This invention also provides a second communication apparatus which makes a facsimile communication via a packet communication network and has a first mode in which image header information such as a date, time, source information, destination information, and the like can be described in image data having a predetermined number of pixels and can send the image data, and a second mode in which image data having one of various resolutions and an indefinite number of pixels can be sent.
Abstract:
An image processing program product enables an image processing apparatus to perform operations including the steps of: storing a plurality of image information to be transmitted by a facsimile apparatus; sequentially outputting the stored image information; reading a mode list from a mode list recording unit on which a list of modes for images to be transmitted has been described; converting an image in accordance with the mode indicated by the mode list; and transmitting the converted image information to the facsimile apparatus. The converting includes a transmission data forming step for adding a transmission destination described in the mode list recording unit to the outputted image information and for forming transmission data based upon the mode of the image described in the mode list recording unit.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an image processing apparatus and an image processing system which facilitate management against unauthorized use by creating a job log according to a usage status of a user. A creation section creates a different job log for each individual user. The job log has storage conditions of image data included in the job log set according to a storage level. The storage conditions are a color of an image, a resolution of the image data and whether or not necessary to create OCR data of the image data. To increase efficiency of a follow-up research by using such a job log, the storage level of the image data relating to the user having performed unauthorized use is raised.
Abstract:
An image reading apparatus includes: a reading unit; a transmission unit and a limiting unit. The reading unit is configured to read a document and create image data. The transmission unit supports a plurality of transmission modes, and is configured to transmit the image data to an external apparatus using at least one selected from the plurality of transmission modes. The limiting unit is configured to limit selectable transmission modes of the transmission unit based on at least one of: a user-designated attribute of the document set by a user; a reading attribute of the reading unit; and a content of the document read by the reading unit.
Abstract:
In a printing system in which a digital camera (DSC) and PD printer apparatus are directly connected via a USB, and image data is transmitted from the DSC to the PD printer apparatus and printed, Capability of the PD printer apparatus is transmitted from the PD printer apparatus to the DSC after communication procedures are established by an application (NCDP) installed in the PD printer apparatus and DSC. The PD printer apparatus is caused to execute print operation in accordance with print conditions set by the DSC on the basis of the transmitted Capability.

In a printing system in which a digital camera (DSC) and photo-direct (PD) printer apparatus are directly connected via a USB, and image data is transmitted from the DSC to the PD printer apparatus and printed, Capability of the PD printer apparatus is transmitted from the PD printer apparatus to the DSC after communication procedures are established by an application New Camera Direct Print (NCDP) installed in the PD printer apparatus and DSC. The PD printer apparatus is caused to execute a print operation in accordance with print conditions set by the DSC on the basis of the transmitted Capability.
Abstract:
A system, method, and process for embedding low frequency image details and high frequency image details into a final digital image file. A digital image file is stored with embedded low and high frequency image details that are accessible with a compatible digital image decoder and a non-compatible digital image decoder. Non-compatible digital image decoders access only a compressed low frequency image of the original digital image contained in the final digital image file. Compatible digital image decoders use the embedded high frequency image details contained in the final digital image file to render a high resolution image.
