Abstract:
An aerosol actuator having a button actuator on a top surface thereof and a lever actuator extending away from the button actuator may be assembled with an aerosol container and valve to provide ergonomic application of a product utilizing the aerosol actuator.
Abstract:
An Aerosol Isopropyl Alcohol Mixture Agent with Trigger Sprayer that can be easily held in one hand. The Isopropyl Alcohol Mixture Agent is in a bag inside a can and under pressure from air nitrogen, 1,1,1,2-Tetrafluoroethane, Difluoroethane, Petroleum Hydrocarbon, CO2, HFC1234ze, individually or mixture thereof and can only be initially opened and released by pulling the tab of the trigger sprayer. The Trigger Assembly cannot be sprayed until the tab is pulled. The Can is cylindrical canister housing and has a Dip Tube that goes to the bag of the can to the Isopropyl Alcohol Mixture Agent. There is Propellant composed of air nitrogen, 1,1,1,2-Tetrafluoroethane, Difluoroethane, Petroleum Hydrocarbon, CO2, HFC1234ze, individually or mixture thereof in the can that pushes on the bag holding the Isopropyl Alcohol Mixture Agent up through the Dip Tube to the Valve Operative and then to the Actuator Stem up through the Trigger Sprayer Initially pulling the tab of the Trigger Assembly allows the Trigger to be pressed and be moved. Once the Tab is pulled it does not ever need to be pulled again for future uses and allows the Trigger Pivoting Member of the Trigger Assembly to press down on the Actuator Stem which then exerts pressure on the Valve Operative which allows the Propellant in the Can to exert pressure on the bag and force the Isopropyl Alcohol Mixture Agent in the bag through the Dip Tube up the Valve Operative through the Chamber Hole into the Direction Chamber with pressure up through the Nozzle out the Opening toward the area to be treated. The user then holds down the trigger and sprays the area to be treated with the Isopropyl Alcohol Mixture Agent which comes out as a mist in a spray cone.
Abstract:
A dispensing system has a central longitudinal axis and includes a shroud adapted to receive a container. The shroud includes a gripping portion adapted to be gripped by a hand of a user. The dispensing system also includes an actuation member adapted to rotate about a rotation point on a rotation axis toward an interior of the shroud in response to a force applied to the actuation member by the user. The actuation member is configured such that a rotation distance is at least about 6 centimeters. The rotation distance is measured in a direction parallel to the central longitudinal axis between a location where the user can apply the force to the actuation member and the rotation point of the actuation member.
Abstract:
A system and method for dispensing sprayable material such as paint and other liquefied products. The system includes a dispenser such as a marking stick or other commercially available dispenser. The dispenser is configured to accept a container housed inside a cartridge and filled with sprayable material. The sprayable material is sprayed through a valve and spray tip at one end of the cartridge. An electrically powered motor assembly is removably coupled to the cartridge. The motor is used to power a pump that is incorporated in the cartridge to draw the sprayable material from the container. The material is pumped from the container and delivered through a tube to a spray head. The pressure generated by the pump inside the container and the tube are sufficient to spray the product through the valve and spray tip when valve is opened.
Abstract:
An improved manifold for an aerosol system may include a valve interface (120) capable of flexing to fit with a valve stem of an aerosol system and form a seal and methods for making a manifold may include a gate (106) positioned to improve contact between steel defining a fluid flow path in the manifold.
Abstract:
A finger trigger spray cap actuator and a separable overcap for a mounting cup on an aerosol container. The actuator comprises a spray cap actuator having a base, a collar, a finger trigger support, a finger trigger hingedly connected to the trigger support by a living hinge, and a finger grip depending from the finger trigger. The spray cap actuator has an operable position in which a central passage, formed through the base, engages with an integral down tube depending from the finger trigger, and a non-operable position in which the finger trigger is pivoted away from the lower base. The overcap has an interior space and an overcap support wall defines a receiving compartment for engaging with the spray cap actuator. When the spray cap actuator is folded into the operable position, the actuator can be inserted into the receiving compartment of the overcap and releasably retained therein.
Abstract:
A dispensing system includes a housing for receipt of a product to be dispensed and a discharge orifice for emission of the product. The housing includes at least one decorative recessed portion that does not extend completely through the housing and at least one decorative aperture that does extend completely through the housing. Further, one or more optional apertures are provided within the housing for receipt or viewing of a functional component of the system.
Abstract:
An Aerosol Water with Trigger Sprayer that can be easily held in one hand. The water is under pressure in an aerosol can and can only be released by pulling the tab of the trigger sprayer. The Trigger Sprayer Unit cannot be sprayed until the tab is pulled. The Can is a cylindrical canister housing and has a Dip Tube that goes to the bottom of the can to the Water. There is Propellant in the can that pushes the Water up through the Dip Tube. Pulling the tab of the Sprayer Unit allows the Trigger to be pressed and be moved so the Trigger Pivoting Member of the Trigger Sprayer Unit is able to press down on the stem of the Mounting Cup of the Can which then allows the Propellant in the Can to force the Water through the Dip Tube up through the Chamber Hole into the Direction Chamber with pressure out the Nozzle toward the area to be sprayed. The user then holds down the trigger and sprays the area,
Abstract:
A method of covering an anomaly in a wall substantially to match a pre-existing texture pattern surrounding the anomaly comprises the following steps. A valve is supported on a container assembly to define a main chamber. Contained material comprising wall material concentrate and propellant material is disposed within a main chamber defined by a valve and a container assembly. An actuator relative is arranged relative to the container assembly such that displacement of a button changes the valve from a closed configuration to an open configuration. A first portion of the contained material is applied to the anomaly. A second portion of the contained material is applied to the base coat. The second portion of the contained material forms a desired texture pattern on the base coat that substantially matches the pre-existing texture pattern.
