The photocatalyst comprises cadmium sulfide, has a capsule structure, wherein platinum is supported thereto. It can be obtainable by bubbling H2S gas into a liquid to which particles of cadmium oxide have been added.

摘要： A transparent multi-layer container comprising a co-extrudate of an oxygen-barrier resin layer and an orienting resin layer which is monoaxially or biaxially oriented is disclosed. An adhesive resin layer is preferably interposed between the oxygen-barrier layer and the orienting resin layer, and this co-extrudate is drawn and molded at a specific temperature determined relatively to the melting points and softening points of the respective resins. This container is excellent in the combination of transparency, rigidity, mechanical strength, gas-barrier property and interlaminar peel strength.

摘要： A highly functional film-coated powder which is produced without using the method based on the hydrolysis of a metal alkoxide and without using a metal alkoxide, which is an expensive compound, or a highly flammable organic solvent and which therefore can be obtained at a low overall product cost without necessitating explosion-proof facilities in the production equipment and while attaining easy temperature and humidity regulation; and a process for producing the same. The film-coated powder comprises a base particle having films on the surface thereof, wherein at least one of the films is formed by reaction of a metal salt in an aqueous solvent having a constant pH. By the technique, the surface of base particle can be evenly coated with a solid phase film while inhibiting particle aggregation without precipitating an independent solid phase in the liquid phase.

摘要： Heat-accumulating microcapsule dispersion includes a microcapsule provided as a small-diameter heat-accumulating material including organic compound functioning as heat accumulating material in association with a phase change thereof accommodated within a microcapsule, heat transfer fluid medium including a number of the microcapsules dispersed stably therein, and a number of thermal boundary layer stirring particles dispersed in the heat transfer fluid medium. The stirring particles has a volume average particle diameter between 0.1.times.D and 1.9.times.D relative to a layer thickness D of a thermal boundary layer formed inside a heat exchanging passage through which the dispersion is caused to flow. The particles stir the thermal boundary layer in association with movement thereof inside the heat exchanging passage.
