Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting and removing erroneous tire pressure values are provided. The method involves operating at least one processor to: receive tire pressure data comprising a time series of tire pressure values; simplify the tire pressure data by removing at least some of the tire pressure values that satisfy a predetermined interpolation error threshold; detect, using a trained machine learning classifier, at least one erroneous tire pressure value in the tire pressure data, each erroneous tire pressure value being detected based on the erroneous tire pressure value and a plurality of lagging tire pressure values consecutively trailing the erroneous tire pressure value; clean the tire pressure data by removing the at least one erroneous tire pressure value; and transmit the tire pressure data to a fleet management system, whereby the at least one erroneous tire pressure value is not transmitted to the fleet management system.

Abstract: Devices and methods for detecting an end of trip by an asset tracker are described. An end of trip may be detected using a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) module or an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), such as a three-axis accelerometer. In some implementations, the asset tracker uses the IMU for end of trip detection. In other implementations, the asset tracker uses the IMU for impact detection while using the GNSS module for end of trip detection.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods for determining an estimated weight of a vehicle. The methods comprise operating at least one processor to: receive vehicle data associated with the vehicle, the vehicle data comprising a plurality of vehicle parameters collected during operation of the vehicle; identify one or more vehicle maneuvers based on the vehicle data, each vehicle maneuver being associated with a portion of the vehicle data; and use at least one machine learning model to determine the estimated weight of the vehicle based on the portion of the vehicle data associated with each of the one or more vehicle maneuvers, the at least one machine learning model trained using training data associated with a plurality of previous vehicle maneuvers. Also disclosed are systems for implementing methods of the present disclosure.

The weighted sum is evaluated based on determined weighting factors and expected trip data, to determine an energy consumption of a trip or trips of a vehicle. Determined energy consumption for trips is used for evaluating suitability of the vehicle for performing the trips.
