A lubricating oil composition for high-temperature applications contains (A) a pyromellitate ester, (B) a sulfur-containing triazine antioxidant, and (C) a thiophosphoric acid ester antioxidant. When the lubricating oil composition for high-temperature applications according to the invention is applied to a chain, a gear, a bearing and the like, an amount of evaporation of the lubricating oil composition is restrained for a long time and fluidity thereof is also kept for a long time.

The lubricant has a low vapor pressure, low flammability, excellent heat resistance and ability to suppress the emanation of low volatile components and decomposed gases during use, or a lubricant for an oil retaining bearing which has antistatic property and is capable of grounding the static electricity generated by flow charging of the lubricant.

The present invention relates to a lubricant composition for a high temperature of which the amount evaporated in a thin film at a high temperature is controlled and of which the fluidity is maintained for a long period of time, and it is a lubricant composition for a high temperature which is obtained by mixing a base oil composition comprising (a) 20 to 100% by weight of a specific aromatic ester and (b) 0 to 80% by weight of another base oil with (c) 0.1 to 10% by weight, based on the total amount of the lubricant composition, of an antioxidant.

The lubricating oil composition of the invention includes a base oil composed of mineral oil and/or synthetic oil, an amine antioxidant (A-1) in an amount of 800 ppm or more as reduced to the total amount of nitrogen, and a compound containing phosphorus and/or sulfur (A-2). The invention provides a compressor oil which realizes thermal/oxidation stability, resistance to sludge formation, lubricity, long service life, and water separation at high levels.

The present invention provides a conductive lubricant composition, characterized in that the composition contains a lubricating base oil (A) other than a silicone oil, and a non-metallic antistatic agent (B), and exhibits a kinematic viscosity of 25 mm2/s or less at 40° C., a viscosity index of 100 or higher, a flash point of 150° C. or higher, and a volume resistivity of 1×1010 Ω·cm or less at 25° C. The invention also provides a bearing oil formed from the lubricant composition.

The present invention provides a lubricating oil composition capable of achieving a lubricating property, a thermal stability, an oxidation stability, an anti-discoloring property and an anti-varnishing performance with a higher level by compounding a phosphorus compound having a specific structure in a base oil, as well as a lubricating oil composition for internal combustion engines which is excellent in wear resistance, high-temperature detergency and base number retention property although it has a low phosphorus content, a low sulfur content and a low sulfated ash content.

The present invention provides a lubricating composition, particularly a grease composition and a lubricating oil composition, containing an aralkylated diphenylamine and a phenol compound having a molecular weight of not less than 340 which are compounded into a base oil. The lubricating composition is hardly decomposed or volatilized even at high temperatures and has a long oxidation life so that the lubricating characteristics thereof can be maintained for a long period of time.
