Abstract:
A processor including logic to execute an instruction to synchronize a mapping from a physical address of a guest of a virtualization based system (guest physical address) to a physical address of the host of the virtualization based system (host physical address), and stored in a translation lookaside buffer (TLB), with a corresponding mapping stored in an extended paging table (EPT) of the virtualization based system.
Abstract:
Embodiments of apparatuses, methods, and systems for injecting virtualization events in a layered virtualization architecture are disclosed. In one embodiment, an apparatus includes virtual machine entry logic, recognition logic, and evaluation logic. The virtual machine entry logic is to initiate a transfer of control of the apparatus from a host to a guest running on a virtual machine. The recognition logic is to recognize a request from the host to inject a virtualization event into the virtual machine. The evaluation logic is to identify an intervening monitor to handle the virtualization event.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for an automated grammar file expansion tool are described. The method includes the receipt of a source grammar file. Once received, one or more grammar rules within the source grammar file are expanded to generate one or more expanded grammar rules. Once expanded, the one or more expanded grammar rules are provided to a grammar developer, for example, via a graphical user interface. Finally, a final grammar file is generated, including functionality of each grammar rule within the source grammar file, as well as one or more expanded grammar rules selected by the grammar developer from the expanded grammar rules.
Abstract:
A method for improving performance of speech recognition systems. Characteristics of the user and communication channels used by the user may be used to more accurately select the speech model used for that user.
Abstract:
A method for selecting a speech recognizer from a number of speech recognizers in a speech recognition system. The speech recognition system receives an audio stream from an application and derives enabling information. The speech recognition system then enables at least some of the speech recognizers and receives their results. It derives selection information and uses it to select the best speech recognizer and its results and returns those results back to the application.
Abstract:
A method for switching between speech recognition technologies. The method includes reception of an initial recognition request accompanied by control information. Recognition characteristics are determined using the control information and then a switch is configured based upon the particular characteristic. Alternatively, the switch may be configured based upon system load levels and resource constraints.
Abstract:
A method and system for utilizing multiple speech recognizers. The speech system includes a port through which an input audio stream may be received, at least two recognizers that may convert the input stream to text or commands, and a combiner able to combine lists of possible results from each recognizer into a combined list. The method includes receiving an input audio stream, routing the stream to one or more recognizers, receiving a list of possible results from each of the recognizers, combining the lists into a combined list and returning at least a subset of the list to the application.

Abstract:
Embodiments of apparatuses and methods for processing virtualization events in a layered virtualization architecture are disclosed. In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a event logic and evaluation logic. The event logic is to recognize a virtualization event. The evaluation logic is to determine whether to transfer control from a child guest to a parent guest in response to the virtualization event.
Abstract:
According to an embodiment of the invention, a method for operating a data processing machine is described in which data about a state of the machine is written to a location in storage. The location is one that is accessible to software that may be written for the machine. The state data as written is encoded. This state data may be recovered from the storage according to a decoding process. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.
