    Abstract: A steering wheel including a core metal of a ring portion also includes a soft portion and a hard portion for covering circumferential portions of the core metal. Leather is disposed on a surface of the soft portion and overlaps edges of the hard portion. Extended portions extending from the soft portion surround the core metal and are covered by the hard portion. In this manner, a user of the steering wheel may experience comfort in the feel of the leather on the soft portion as well as an aesthetically appealing hard portion.

    Abstract: A steering wheel body has covering materials for covering a ring core and spoke cores and a pad member integrally formed with the covering materials. An adaptor is fitted to the tip of a steering shaft, the adaptor having an inside serration engaging with the serration of the steering shaft and an outside serration engaging with the serration of a boss member. Moreover, the boss member of a boss plate is provided with a through-hole extending in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the steering shaft. A bolt for fastening the adaptor of the steering shaft is screwed into the through-hole.

    Abstract: A control unit 10 controls brake forces of brake systems of a pair of brake operation elements L1, L2 operated independently to perform an anti-lock brake control for eliminating a locked state of a wheel. The control unit 10 applies the brake force to one of the wheel brakes B1, B2 of the brake system which differs from the brake system of the operated brake operation element when the brake operation elements L1, L2 is operated. When one or both of the brake operation elements L1, L2 are operated and so the wheel likely falls in a locked state, the control unit 10 performs an anti-lock brake control on the brake system of the wheel likely falling in the locked state and also performs a brake force application control on the other brake system which is different from the brake system of the wheel likely falling in the locked state.

    Abstract: There is provided a lubricating structure of a planetary gear mechanism which can simplify the outer shape of an introducing section formed by an oil catch plate, for introducing lubricating oil, and ensure a high degree of design freedom. In a double pinion type planetary gear mechanism, the distance from the axis of a carrier to the outermost edge of an opening in the direction of the carrier's diameter in an lubricating oil introducing hole formed in an outer diameter side pinion shaft and the distance from the axis of the carrier to the outermost edge of an opening in the direction of the carrier's diameter in an lubricating oil introducing hole formed in an inner diameter side pinion shaft are equal to each other. Therefore, lubricating oil can be supplied to the inner diameter side pinion shaft through the introducing section irrespective of the amount of lubricating oil that can be supplied to the outer diameter side pinion shaft. Also, the shape of a centrifugal cancel piston as the oil catch plate forming the introducing section can be simplified to increase the degree of design freedom.
