    摘要: The present invention provides a chemiluminescence enhancer treated to retain favorable dispersibility of fine solid carriers and stably exert a chemiluminescence enhancing action. The invention provides a chemiluminescence enhancer used for signal detection in a solid phase immunoassay using antigen or/and antibody immobilized onto fine solid carriers dispersible in a liquid medium, consisting of a water soluble macromolecular quaternary ammonium salt, a quaternary sulfonium salt or a quaternary phosphonium salt in order to enhance emission of light caused by an enzymatic reaction of a chemiluminescent substrate having dioxetane, wherein the chemiluminescence enhancer is given an aggregation inhibition treatment of the fine solid carriers by the treatment with an oxidizing agent or a reducing agent, and a chemiluminescence method and a kit using the chemiluminescence enhancer.

    摘要: A liquid supply device for transporting a liquid to a predetermined portion includes a liquid container for holding a liquid therein, which has an opening, a sealing sheet member which is impermeable but rupturable and seals the opening of the container, and an absorbent material which is capable of transporting the liquid by capillary action, the absorbent material being disposed on the sealing sheet member, out of contact with the liquid when the sealing sheet member is not ruptured, while when the sealing sheet member is ruptured and the absorbent material is brought into contact with the liquid, part of the absorbent material being continuously held within the liquid and transporting the liquid to the predetermined position. An analytical test device using the above liquid supply device is provided, which may be used, for instance, immunoassay.

    摘要: A method for determining the activity of an angiotensin-converting enzyme is disclosed comprising the steps of mixing a liquid containing (i) a synthetic substrate X-hippuryl-L-dipeptide having the formula ##STR1## wherein X represents OH, NH.sub.2 or N(CH.sub.3).sub.2, and when R.sub.1 is H, R.sub.2 is H, and when R.sub.1 is ##STR2## R.sub.2 is CH.sub.2 CH(CH.sub.3).sub.2, (ii) hippuricase and (iii) 4-aminoantipyrine, with a liquid containing an angiotensin-converting enzyme; measuring colorimetrically the concentration of the quinonimine dye which is formed by adding an oxiding agent to the above mixture; and calculating the activity of the angiotensin-converting enzyme from the concentration of the quinonimine dye.

    摘要: The present invention relates to the method of measuring a biological ligand (1) in a sample containing an amylase (1) derived from a higher animal. This method is characterized by employing a combination of an amylase (2) not contained in the sample and an antibody against the ligand (1) or a ligand (2) capable of reacting with the antibody and an amylase inhibitor of which inhibitory activity against the amylase (1) is stronger than that against the amylase (2). The method of the invention utilizes the emphasis of steric hindrance of the amylase (2) reaction which is carried out at the boundary between solid phase and liquid phase and the specific removal of the influence of the amylase (1) by using the above amylase inhibitor. This method is suitable as a clinical test for the determination of physiological substances and trace components in a humoral fluid such as serum.

    摘要: A method is provided which is highly sensitive and specific, and is suitable as a clinical test for the determination of physiological substances and trace components in humoral fluid. The method employs a conjugate of an enzyme capable of acting on a water-insoluble macromolecular substance and an antibody against the ligand (1) to be measured or a ligand (2) having an antigenic determinant common to one of the antigenic determinant(s) of the ligand (1). In the method of the invention, steric hindrance of the conjugate is emphasized by the enzyme reaction which is carried out at the boundary between solid phase and liquid phase.
