Abstract:
A light-emitting diode (LED) light bulb includes an outer housing assembly, an inner housing assembly, an LED circuit board and a lamp cap. The outer housing assembly has a non-metallic outer shell and an inner shell affixed to an inner wall of the outer shell. The inner housing assembly is mounted inside the outer housing assembly through a lower opening of the outer housing assembly and is non-metallic and elongated with one end thereof securely connected with the base. The LED circuit board is mounted on a top of the LED mounting disc. The lamp cap is non-metallic and covers the upper opening of the outer housing assembly. Because the outer housing assembly and the lamp cap enclose the LED circuit board therein, users do not easily get an electric shock when holding the outer housing assembly or the lamp cap upon mounting or dismounting the LED light bulb to or from an LED lamp holder.
Abstract:
An anti-bedsore bed may comprise a bed unit, a first bed body, and a second bed body. The bed unit has a first mattress, and a bottom portion is coupled on a bottom surface thereof. Moreover, the bottom portion comprises six supporting units evenly arranged into three sets at positions corresponding to a user's upper, middle and lower back, and each of the supporting units has a sliding block moveably mounted on an upper surface of the bottom portion. Furthermore, each of the sliding blocks has a supporting rod, and an abutting unit is pivotally connected to an upper end of the supporting rod. The supporting rods are configured to move upwardly in a preset time interval, and the abutting units are adapted to uplift a user's body to detach from the first mattress for a designed time, thereby achieving the anti-bedsore effect.
Abstract:
A heat dissipating system including a casing body, a heat source and a piezoelectric fan is provided. The casing body includes an upper casing and a bottom case, wherein at least one of the upper casing and the bottom casing includes at least one air inlet. The heat source and the piezoelectric fan are both disposed in the casing body. The piezoelectric fan has an opening facing the heat source while the air inlet is adjacent to the opening. Air is adsorbed into the opening through the air inlet and is exhausted out towards a direction of the heat source by the piezoelectric fan.
Abstract:
A curette for pituitary adenoma surgery may include a curette having a tubular blade portion. A first cutting edge is formed at a first end of the blade portion, and a protective shell is formed at an outer periphery of the first cutting edge. A first annular ring formed at a first end of the protective shell is located at the same side of the first cutting edge, and a rod portion extended from a surface of the protective shell is configured to provide a handhold for a user. The first annular ring of the protective shell can prevent the first cutting edge of the blade portion from accidentally cutting the meninges or blood vessels during pituitary adenoma surgery. Thus, the curette can improve the efficiency of the surgery and lower surgery time, anesthetic dosage and risk of the surgery.
Abstract:
An input device for use with an electronic system. The input device includes: a substantially planar input surface comprising a capacitive sensor layer configured to sense positional information for an input object, the input surface having a first zone and a second zone, wherein the second zone is configured to deflect in response to force applied to the second zone by the input object; a stiffener substrate having a first portion affixed to a bottom surface of the first zone, and at least one finger extending parallel to and spaced apart from the second zone; and an actuation mechanism disposed between the finger and the second zone.
Abstract:
An apparatus, for reinforcing bone and tools for mounting the same, has an implant including a barrel and a device. The implant can be expanded by an expanding apparatus including an outer tube, a base, a hollow body and a handle. The expanding apparatus can be bound to the implant to place the implant into a bone to be treated and adjust the expansion degree. The expanding apparatus can be replaced by an injector apparatus including a container for bone cement and an injecting handle. The injector apparatus can inject a mixture for reinforcing bone (e.g., bone cement) into the bone through an exit, the device, the aperture, the barrel and the window of the barrel, and into the to-be treated area.

A pneumatic spanner structure includes a head body, a link bevel gear unit, a hit unit and a driving handle. A driving motor axle portion at an open end of the driving handle drives a motor link bevel gear post and a hit unit link bevel gear plate of the link bevel gear unit. The hit unit link bevel gear plate links the hit unit. The link bevel gear unit enhances and transmits the force to the hit unit. The hit unit applies the acting force on a workpiece. The hit unit doesn't need a buffer space for actuation and the force is indirect. The link bevel gear unit is a deceleration device to extend the service life of the whole structure. The output force is more powerful than the prior art, providing a stable and compact structure.
Abstract:
A lighting device is provided. The lighting device includes a switch-mode power supply module, an electronic ballast power supply module, a first single-pole double-throw switch, a second single-pole double-throw switch, a third single-pole double-throw switch, a fourth single-pole double-throw switch, and a direct-current driven lighting module. The lighting device is connected with the ballast, one input of the ballast is connected to an AC power supply. The switch-mode power supply module and the electronic ballast power supply module are used to convert AC into DC. The common end of four single-pole double-throw switch is connected with the ballast. When the ballast is an inductive ballast, the common end of four single-pole double-throw switch is connected to the input of the switch-mode power supply module. When the ballast is the electronic ballast, the common end of four single-pole double-throw switch is connected to the output of the electronic ballast power modules.
Abstract:
An authentication method and system for screening network caller ID spoofs and malicious phone calls includes a screening authentication system with a server that includes a login register interface, a data accessing interface, a data searching and comparing program, a data searching database, a labeling indication program, a registry coding module and a data searching coding module. Authentication data is generated by the registry coding module from a caller telephone number and caller login identification data input during registration. Corresponding authentication data contained in a network calling signal from a caller sending device is generated by a data searching coding module. A data searching and comparing program compares the authentication data and, if any discrepancy is found, a labeling indication program sends a “failed authentication” signal to the target network receiving callee so that a fraudulent call is detected.
