    摘要: A method and system to acquire checkpoints in making iteration-method computer calculations in parallel and to effectively utilize the acquired data for recovery. At the time of acquiring a checkpoint in parallel calculation that repeats an iteration method, each node independently acquires the checkpoint in parallel with the calculation without stopping the calculation. Thereby, it is possible to perform both of the calculation and the checkpoint acquisition in parallel. In the case where the calculation does not impose an I/O bottleneck, checkpoint acquisition time is overlapped, and execution time is reduced. In this method, checkpoint data including values at different points of time during the acquisition process is acquired. By limiting the use purpose to iteration-method convergence calculations, mixture of the values at the different points of time in the checkpoint data is accepted in the problem that a convergence destination does not depend on an initial value.

    摘要: A power supply unit in an image forming apparatus is provided. The power supply unit includes a piezoelectric transformer, an output voltage detecting circuit which detects the output voltage of the piezoelectric transformer, a comparator which receives an output voltage setting signal, together with an output voltage detecting signal fed back from the output voltage detecting circuit, to compare the output voltage setting signal and the output voltage detecting signal, and a driving frequency supplying circuit which generates the driving frequency of the piezoelectric transformer in accordance with a comparison result by the comparator, and supplies the resultant driving frequency to the piezoelectric transformer. The time constant of the output voltage setting signal is longer than the time constant of the output voltage detecting circuit.

The switching is selectively performed, such that, a stable low temperature combustion corresponding to the air fuel ratio is performed by shifting the area for performing the low temperature combustion to the high load side as the air fuel ratio is reduced.
