摘要: A method of easily manufacturing a metal mold able to add an antireflection structure to a lens or the like having a complicated surface shape such as an aspherical lens. The method comprises the steps of forming a silicon dioxide film (SiO2) film (2) on a curved-surface base substrate (1) formed in a specified shape, etching the silicon dioxide film (SiO2) film (2) using a resist mask (3) to form a specified shaped antireflection structure pattern, bonding a metal used for the metal mold (4) onto a silicon dioxide film (SiO2) film (21) on which this antireflection film pattern is formed to transfer the antireflection film pattern onto the metal used for the metal mold (4), and then re-moving the silicon dioxide film (SiO2) film to form a metal mold (4a) having an antireflection structure on the curved surface.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a detection device which does not cause the false detection by receiving laser light from an oncoming car.The pulse laser light modulated with a modulation pattern set every target position is irradiated at the target position from a laser irradiation portion. DSP (Digital Signal Processor) decides that there is an obstacle at the target position only when the modulation pattern of the pulse laser light emitted from the laser emitting portion matches with the modulation pattern of the pulse laser light received by the laser receiving portion. It is suppressed that the detection device misdetects the conditions of the target position when receiving laser light from an oncoming car or the like because modulation pattern of laser light from own does not match with modulation pattern of laser light from the oncoming car or the like.

摘要: The present invention provides smooth and adequate recording/reproducing on a recording medium employing a biodegradable material as a substrate material. The present invention relates to storing on a recording medium, information, structure, or the like indicating that a substrate is formed of a biodegradable material. When the present invention is applied to CD, CD-R, and CD-RW, identification information indicating a substrate formed of a biodegradable material is included in a free area of TOC data in a lead-in area shown in FIG. 4. An optical disc apparatus reads the identification information to identify whether or not a disc loaded into the apparatus has a substrate of a biodegradable material. When the loaded disc has a substrate of a biodegradable material, the optical disc apparatus: measures a temperature inside a drive; stops a recording/reproducing operation on the disc when the temperature approaches a glass transition temperature of a substrate material; and ejects the disc to outside of the apparatus.

摘要: An image forming apparatus uses a switching element to switch current flowing to an excitation coil, so that a heating layer in a fixing member produces heat that fixes an image to a transported sheet. Based on a change in temperature of the switching element over time, a prediction unit determines, at a predetermined first time point, a predicted temperature of the switching element at a second time point at which a tip of the sheet is scheduled to arrive at the fixing member. When the predicted temperature is at least a predetermined value, a control unit controls power supplied to the excitation coil by restricting switching of the switching element and lifting the restriction, so that by the second time point the detected temperature of the fixing member reaches a temperature necessary for fixing.

摘要: The abnormality detection system is provided for detecting an abnormality of an object. The abnormality detection system includes a high-frequency power source, a primary coil, a secondary coil and a controller. The high-frequency power source supplies power. The primary coil receives the power supplied from the high-frequency power source. The secondary coil is mounted to the object in noncontact with the primary coil for receiving power supplied from the primary coil. The controller is operable to detect the power received by the secondary coil and also to determine whether or not an abnormality is present in the object based on the detected power.

摘要: First and second terminals project from a circuit board and lie adjacent to each other with an interspace formed between the first and second terminals. An electronic apparatus further includes a projecting member projecting along a neighboring terminal which is one of the first and second terminals at such a position that the neighboring terminal is located between the projecting member and the interspace. The projecting member is located at an adjacent position adjacent to the neighboring terminal, to attract molten solder from the interspace toward the projecting member during soldering to join the first and second terminals to the circuit board.
