Abstract:
Water-permeable porous sheet structures are prepared by adding an inorganic filler which has a shaken volume of from 3 to 20 cc. per gram into a solution of a polyurethane urea and then treating the polyurethane-urea solution with a nonsolvent which is miscible with the solvent and shaping the solution to form a water-permeable porous sheet structure with removal of the solvent and the nonsolvent.
Abstract:
A process for the preparation of stable polyurethane urea solutions by chain lengthening with bifunctional hydrazide compounds prepolymers prepared from dihydroxy compounds and excess 1-isocyanato-3-isocyanato-methyl-3,5,5trimethylcyclohexane. The polyurethane ureas dissolved in a mixture of water, aromatic hydrocarbons and aliphatic alcohols can be used for producing coatings which have exceptional light fastness.
Abstract:
THE OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION ARE SEGMENTED POLYURETHANE ELASTOMERS, PREFERABLY ELASTOMERIC FIBERS, FOILS AND SOLUTIONS THEREOF, BEING PREPARED BY REACITING AN NCOPOLYMER WITH A SEMICARTBAZIDE-ALKYL-AMINE OR -ARYLAMINE AS CHAIN EXTEDNDING AGENTS-UP TO 45 MOL PERCENT OF THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF CHAIN EXTENDERS-CAN BE USED. THE REACTION IS EFFECTED IN HIGHLY POLAR SOLVENTS. THE OBTAINED ELASTOMERS HAVE IMPROVED PROPERTIES, ESPECIALLY IMPROVED HEAT DISTORTION TEMPERATURE AND IMPROVED HYDROTHERMAL PROPERTIES. A FURTHER OBJECT OF THE INVENTION ARE NEW SEMICARBAZIDE AMINO COMPOUNDS.
