Abstract:
A pedestrian safety system includes a power transmission unit provided to a vehicle and transmitting an electric power, a power reception unit provided to a wearable member being wearable by a pedestrian and receiving the electric power transmitted from the power transmission unit, a power storage unit provided to the wearable member and storing the electric power received by the power reception unit, and at least one light emitting unit provided to the wearable member. The at least one light emitting unit performs a flash or illumination operation with a supply of the electric power stored in the power storage unit as an operational power. With this pedestrian safety system, pedestrian's safety can be properly ensured without disposing an operational power source of the light emitting unit on the pedestrian side.
Abstract:
A vehicular wireless power feeding system includes a portable apparatus, a vehicle-side wireless power feeding system and a notifier. The portable apparatus operates using power, which is stored in an attached battery. The vehicle-side wireless power feeding system has a wireless power feeder arranged in the vehicle and for wirelessly feeding power to a wireless power receiver of the portable apparatus. The notifier notifies of, as wireless power feeding information, information related to wireless power feeding from the wireless power feeder to the wireless power receiver.
Abstract:
A data processing device includes: a first controller requiring a first activation time; a second controller requiring a second activation time, which is shorter than the first activation time; and a data processor for switching a mode, in which data is processed, between a first processing mode without collaboration with the first controller, and a second processing mode in collaboration with the first controller. The data processor processes data in the first processing mode after completing the activation of the second controller and before completing the activation of the first controller; processes data in the second processing mode after completing the activation of the first controller; and processes data in the first processing mode after a fault occurs in the first controller.
Abstract:
A vehicle device monitors a physical condition of a driver, executes an awakening operation when detecting abnormal physical condition of the driver, determines whether the abnormal physical condition of the driver is resolved by the awakening operation, executes an emergency autonomous travelling when the abnormal physical condition of the driver being determined to be not resolved, notifies the emergency autonomous travelling toward vehicle surrounding, executes a rescue request in travelling state toward the vehicle surrounding during the emergency autonomous travelling, searches for a facility capable of treating the abnormal physical condition of the driver and sets the facility as a destination, sets another facility as a destination when no facility capable of treating the abnormal physical condition of the driver being specified, and executes a rescue request after arrival toward the vehicle surrounding in response to the vehicle arriving at another facility.
Abstract:
A hazard prediction and a hazard avoidance procedure are performed based on a predetermined hazard avoidance condition during an autonomous driving operation of a vehicle. User-input information about a driving operation of the vehicle; is received, and area or object information is checked to determine the area or the object as a monitoring target. The monitoring target is tracked. At least one additional hazard avoidance procedure for the monitoring target is set, and the at least one additional hazard avoidance procedure is performed in addition to the hazard avoidance procedure when the monitoring target approaches the vehicle.
Abstract:
In an electronic information processing system, a brain activity detection unit detects an activity of a user's brain. A change determination part determines whether a character input mode presently set needs to be changed to a different character input mode based on a detection result of the brain activity detection unit after a character input under the character input mode presently set is displayed on a display unit. When the change determination part determines that the character input mode presently set needs to be changed to the different character input mode, the character input mode setting part sets the different character input mode instead of the character input mode presently set.
Abstract:
A vehicular device includes: an eye opening degree determiner that determines a driver eye opening degree; a line-of-sight movement determiner that determines frequency of a driver line-of-sight movement; an operation determiner that determines a driver operation state for a driving operation instrument; a deviation determiner that determines a possibility that a driving state of a subject vehicle driver deviates from a safe driving state; a vehicle inside notification controller that performs a notification operation for a vehicle inside; and a vehicle outside notification controller that performs a notification operation for a vehicle outside.
Abstract:
In a vehicle, a sleepiness degree of a driver is detected based on an eye opening degree and an eye opening time of an eye of the driver. A process corresponding to one of a plurality of levels of the detected sleepiness degree is selected and executed from among a plurality of processes to awaken the driver.
Abstract:
An electronic device for a vehicle includes: a digital substrate having a first semiconductor package with a CPU, a second semiconductor package with a volatile memory readable and writable from the CPU, a third semiconductor package with a flash memory storing a start-up program of the CPU, and a fourth semiconductor package with a power supply management integrated circuit; and a fan that takes in air along the surface of the digital substrate on which the first to fourth semiconductor packages are mounted. The third semiconductor package is disposed to distance from the first semiconductor package by at least a first predetermined distance and to distance from the fourth semiconductor package by at least a second predetermined distance exceeding the first predetermined distance, and is disposed in a passage of the air taken in by the fan.
