    Abstract: A forward phase adjustment unit adjusting a forward phase of a forward intermediate rotor relative to a crank shaft includes a forward stopper mechanism and a forward locking mechanism and a forward biasing mechanism. The forward stopper mechanism prevents further advance of the forward phase by engaging the forward intermediate rotor at a forward most-advanced phase. The forward locking mechanism locks the forward phase when reaching the forward most-advanced phase at a start time of the engine. The forward biasing member biases the forward intermediate rotor in an advance direction. A backward phase adjustment unit adjusts the backward phase of the intake cam shaft relative to a backward intermediate rotor by receiving a cam torque that is biased on average in a retard direction. The backward phase adjustment unit includes a backward stopper mechanism and a backward locking mechanism. The backward stopper mechanism prevents further retard of the backward phase by engaging the intake cam shaft at a backward most-retarded phase. The backward locking mechanism locks the backward phase when reaching the backward most-retarded phase at the start time of the engine.

    Abstract: An accelerator device includes a pedal lever, a drive source, a power transmission mechanism, and a control unit. The pedal lever is operable in response to a pedaling operation. The drive source generates a driving force when being energized. The power transmission mechanism transmits the driving force of the drive source to the pedal lever, and applies a reaction force in an opposite direction to a pedaling direction of the pedal lever. The control unit includes a reaction force controller that controls the reaction force applied to the pedal lever by controlling the drive source. The reaction force controller holds an initial reaction force for a reaction force hold time from a start of reaction force application, and performs a reaction force reduction control in which the reaction force is reduced as a time function after an elapse of the reaction force hold time.

    Abstract: A brake pedal is operated by a pedal force of a driver. A sensor is capable of detecting a stroke amount of the brake pedal. A brake circuit generates braking force to apply a brake to a vehicle by applying hydraulic pressure to wheel cylinders provided to respective wheels. An electronic control device controls the braking force generated by the brake circuit based on an output signal from the sensor and a state of the vehicle. The electronic control device executes predetermined braking force control under which the braking force generated by the brake circuit is set to be predetermined braking force, when the stroke amount of the brake pedal is between a first threshold and a second threshold larger than the first threshold.

    Abstract: A brake device for a brake-by-wire system includes a brake pedal, a sensor, a reaction force generator, and a reaction force changing mechanism.
