    摘要: Disclosed is a liquid crystal display (LCD) device in which low power LEDs with a dual lens structure re configured for application in a backlight device to increase the optical efficiency at low power, thus enhancing the brightness, such LCD device including: a lower cover; PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) disposed on the lower cover for receiving power from the exterior; a main body mounted on the PCBs; R, G and B LED (Light Emitting Diode) devices disposed on the main body for emitting light; a first lens having a first curvature and mounted on the main body and housing the R, G and B LED devices; a second lens covering the outside of the first lens and having an inner curved surface with a second curvature having a varying radius of curvature, and an outer curved surface with a third curvature, wherein the second curvature of the inner curved surface is gradually increased from an edge portion toward a central portion; and a liquid crystal panel spaced apart from the second lens by a certain interval and to which light is provided.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for controlling a duplication structure of a Base station Transceiver Subsystem (BTS) is provided. The BTS has N number of sectors including a first sector to an Nth sector and M number of Frequency Assignments (FAs) including a first FA to an Nth FA. The apparatus and method includes N number of power dividers, each of which has M number of output ports and one redundancy output port, each of the power dividers dividing an input signal into equal-power signals each having 1/(M+1) power and outputting the power-divided signals through the M number of output ports and one redundancy output port. The apparatus and method further includes (N×M) number of receivers for demodulating signals outputted from the output ports of the N number of power dividers, respectively; a redundancy receiver for demodulating a signal which has been processed by and is switched over from one of the (N×M) number of receivers according to a predetermined control; a switch connected to each of redundancy output ports of the N number of power dividers, the switch connecting a signal outputted from one of the redundancy output ports to the redundancy receiver according to a predetermined control; and a controller which monitors operation states of the (N×M) number of receivers and controls the switch to connect a redundancy signal to the redundancy receiver when the controller detects one abnormally-operating receiver from among the (N×M) number of receivers, the redundancy signal being outputted from a redundancy output port of a power divider connected to the abnormally-operating receiver.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for delay time computation and delay compensation between a Base Station (BS) and a remote Radio Frequency (RF) unit in a broadband wireless access system are provided. In a method of operating an apparatus for determining a delay time to compensate for delay between a BS modem card and a remote RF unit in a wireless access system, the method includes determining a process delay time required when traffic data is output from the BS modem card to an antenna of the remote RF unit in a state where a reference cable having a length short enough to neglect a cable delay time is connected between the BS modem card and the remote RF unit, determining a cable delay time required when a sync pulse signal is transmitted through a cable used in actual system operation between the BS modem card and the remote RF unit, and determining a time for outputting traffic data at an earlier time from a modem included in the BS modem card by using the determined process delay time and cable delay time.

    摘要: A method for laser interference lithography using a diffraction grating includes (a) forming a photoresist layer on a work substrate to which a repeated fine pattern is to be formed; (b) forming a refractive index matching material layer on the photoresist layer; (c) forming on the refractive index matching material layer a diffraction grating layer having a period of diffraction grating within the range from λ/ng to λ/n0 (λ is a wavelength of laser beam, ng is a refractive index of the diffraction grating, and n0 is a refractive index in the air or in vacuum); and (d) exposing the photoresist layer by means of mutual interference of positive and negative diffracted lights with the same absolute value by inputting a laser beam perpendicularly to the diffraction grating layer. This method allows to realize an interference pattern with higher resolution and to use a laser source with lower coherence.
