摘要: A fuel pump is driven by a variable, constant current, control circuit. A pressure control valve disposed between the fuel pump and a fuel rail includes a downstream pressure control valve and a bypass valve bypassing the downstream pressure control valve. The downstream pressure control valve sets the fuel pressure in the fuel rail to a predetermined value by opening or closing a passage from a fuel pipe to the fuel rail. If the fuel pump discharge pressure is sufficiently increased, the bypass valve is opened when the upstream fuel pressure is larger than the downstream fuel pressure by at least a predetermined differential pressure. In this way, fuel is supplied to raise the fuel rail fuel pressure. Therefore, it is possible during other times to reduce the consumed electric power of the fuel pump and thus prolong its life.

摘要: A flux-cored wire electrode suitable for use in gas-shielded arc-welding, characterized in that the sum of the carbon content in the sheath made of soft steel and the carbon content in a lubricant adhered on the sheath is 0.045 wt. % or lower relative to the total weight of the sheath and a flux, which contains 20-50 wt. % of TiO.sub.2, 1-15 wt. % of SiO.sub.2, 2.5-10 wt. % of ZrO.sub.2, 0.1-5 wt. % of an arc-stabilizing agent, 10-45 wt. % of a deoxidizer and up to 50 wt. % of iron powder, all based on the total weight of the flux, is filled to an amount of 10-30 wt. % of the total weight of the wire electrode in the cavity surrounded by the sheath. The above flux-cored wire electrode features a low fume emission rate comparable with that of a solid wire electrode.

摘要: A work hardening treatment which decreases the Young's modulus, and an age hardening treatment which recovers or increases the Young's modulus decreased by the work hardening treatment are performed to form a vibrating portion, thereby attaining a vibrating element advantageous in downsizing while ensuring desired fatigue characteristics and vibration characteristics. This downsizes, for example, an actuator device, an optical scanning device, a video projection apparatus, and an image forming apparatus.

摘要: In an electrical connector for connecting connection objects to each other in a connecting direction, a holding member has an accommodating portion between a first and a second surface to which the connection objects are opposed, respectively, when connected to said electrical connector. A connecting member has elasticity and is placed in the accommodating portion. The holding member includes a first and a second wall which define the accommodating portion therebetween. At least one of the first and the second walls includes a restraining portion defining a space which allows a portion of the connecting member to elastically move in a predetermined direction crossing the connecting direction.
