摘要: Provided is a fuel cell system that performs a warm-up operation by reducing a supply of oxidant gas to a fuel cell, the system having: a fuel cell; and a control unit that regulates amounts of oxidant gas and fuel gas supplied to the fuel cell and controls a power-generation state of the fuel cell. During the warm-up operation with a reduced supply of oxidant gas to the fuel cell, the control unit varies a voltage of the fuel cell for a short period of time to obtain current-voltage characteristics which indicate a relationship of an output voltage and an output current of the fuel cell, calculates an effective catalyst area of the fuel cell based on the obtained current-voltage characteristics, and determines whether the warm-up operation of the fuel cell can be stopped or not based on the calculated effective catalyst area.

摘要: Provided is a fluorescent lamp composed of a bulb and bases provided at base ends. The bulb includes (a) a circumferential wall whose inner surface is coated with a fluorescent layer and (b) end walls each partially composed of a stem to which an electrode is attached, the stem being plate-shaped. The bases are each provided covering a corresponding one of the stems such that at least part of each end wall other than the stem is exposed. An inner surface of each stem is positioned closer to a center of the bulb in a bulb axis direction than an imaginary plane containing a corresponding edge of the bulb is.

摘要: A media cartridge autoloader including first and second media cartridge transport magazines is disclosed. A magazine drive includes a drive shaft unit, a drive shaft unit shifting mechanism, and a magazine drive motor module. A mechanism that rotates a turntable of a media cartridge picker is also used to move the drive shaft unit such that the drive shaft unit is selectively coupled with either one of the first or second media cartridge transport magazines. A drive shaft of the drive shaft unit is driven by a magazine drive motor of the magazine drive motor module, so that the coupled media cartridge transport magazine is driven.

摘要: In order to determine the routes of wiring connections on a multi-layer circuit board, to form a suitable wiring pattern without local congestions of the wiring connections, the wiring region of the circuit board is considered as one or more areas. For each area, a preferred wiring direction is determined for each layer of the circuit board. Those preferred directions for the layers may be determined by proposing initial preferred wiring directions for each layer, determining whether there is congestion of the wiring connections in any area, and changing the wiring direction for one or more layers of such an area to reduce the congestion. Alternatively, the wiring directions can be determined for each layer without there being an initial wiring direction which is common to all areas. Furthermore, an excess number value may be obtained, which is the sum by which the desired number of wiring connections of an area exceed a predetermined value, for a series of candidate wiring directions of the layers of the area, and then the candidate is selected which has the minimum excess value.
