Abstract: Disclosed is a User Equipment device configured to select a suitable acknowledgement timing configuration in a time division duplex-frequency division duplex (TDD-FDD) carrier aggregation (CA) enabled wireless network, comprising establishing, by a user equipment (UE), a connection to a primary serving cell (PCell) and a secondary serving cell (SCell) of a base station, the PCell having a first TDD or first FDD configuration, the SCell having a second FDD or second TDD configuration, receiving, by the UE, downlink data through the PCell and SCell, categorizing a type of downlink data subframe in use by the SCell, selecting, by the UE, a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) timing configuration based on the type of downlink data subframe for use by the SCell, and transmitting acknowledgement information associated with the downlink data according to the selected hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) timing configuration on PCell. Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices for physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) repetition for half duplex frequency division duplex (HD-FDD) wireless operations. A user equipment (UE) device may detect a use of HD-FDD operations; identify an available time slot during which to transmit a PUSCH repetition for the HD-FDD operations; and encode the PUSCH repetition to be transmitted during the available time slot.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) can include processing circuitry configured to decode control information of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) received via a resource within a control resource set (CORESET) occupying a subset of a plurality of OFDM symbols within a slot. At least one of the symbols in the subset coincides with a pre-defined symbol location associated with a demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) of a PDSCH. The DM-RS can be detected within the slot, the DM-RS starting at a symbol location that is shifted from the pre-defined symbol location and following the subset of symbols. Downlink data scheduled by the PDCCH and received via the PDSCH can be decoded, where the decoding is based on the detected DM-RS.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to downlink (DL) control channel signaling for an aperiodic channel state information (A-CSI) trigger. In one example, a user equipment (UE) communicates with a network to receive first configuration signaling to identify a first downlink control information (DCI) in a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). The UE also receives, from the network, the first DCI. The first DCI is appended with cyclic redundancy check (CRC) bits that are scrambled by a common radio network temporary identifier (RNTI) and is to indicate an aperiodic channel state information (A-CSI) trigger. Next, the UE receives, from the network, channel state information (CSI) reference signals in one or more occasions that follow an occasion in which the first DCI is received and generates and transmits a CSI report in a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) based on the CSI reference signals.

Abstract: Provided herein are mechanisms on response of pre-allocated resource based PUSCH transmission. The disclosure provides an apparatus including processor circuitry. The processor circuitry is to: encode data, for transmission to an access node (AN) over a pre-allocated uplink (UL) resource (PUR) based physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH); start a timer once the data is transmitted; and monitor, based on the timer, a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) to obtain a response of the AN to the transmission of the data.
