Abstract: Techniques facilitating resolution-based spatial computing are provided. In one example, a computer-implemented method comprises traversing, by a device operatively coupled to a processor, a data structure corresponding to a land area for a location having an index; and determining, by the device, whether the location is at least partially within the land area based on a result of the traversing. In some embodiments, the traversing comprises: obtaining a threshold number of levels based at least in part on a resolution parameter; scanning a first level of the data structure for a node having an index corresponding to the index of the location; and iterating the scanning for respective subsequent levels of the data structure based on the scanning returning a node having subordinate nodes and a number of levels for which the scanning and iterating have been performed being less than the threshold number of levels.

Abstract: Circuits and methods are provided for utilizing decoupling capacitors to mitigate voltage droop on power supply lines of a power distribution network. A power supply line is capacitively decoupled using a first decoupling capacitor connected to the power supply line and charged to a first voltage level of the power supply line. A second decoupling capacitor is pre-charged to a second voltage level greater than the first voltage level and held in standby. A control circuit determines or predicts an occurrence of a droop event in which the first voltage decreases to a level which is at or below a droop threshold voltage level, and selectively connects the pre-charged second decoupling capacitor to the power supply line to source additional boosting current through discharging of the second decoupling capacitor and thereby capacitively decouple the power supply line using the higher second voltage and additional boosting current.

The hierarchical spatial encode structure includes a plurality of scale levels having a plurality of encode expressions for a multi-scale context. The encode expressions on a first of the scale levels may include a first length. The encode expressions on a second of the scale levels may include a second length greater than the first length. Each encode expression of the second of the scale levels may include one or more of the encode expressions of the first of the scale levels. A context of the first of the scale levels may have a contain/nest (contained) spatial relation to a context of the second of the scale levels.

The plurality of nanowires are silicon (Si) nanowires, the Si nanowires used as probes to penetrate skin of a subject to achieve electrical biopotential signals. The plurality of nanowires are formed over the first substrate by metal-assisted chemical etching.

Abstract: According to one or more embodiments of the present invention, a method of forecasting air quality is provided. The method includes determining weather pattern classifications based on global atmospheric information from a global weather model and determining a synoptic scale correction factor in response to the determination of the weather pattern classifications. The method also includes blending the global atmospheric information the synoptic scale correction factor to produce a data set and blending the data set with regional atmospheric information from a regional weather model to generate weather fields. The method further includes blending chemical information from a global chemical model and the synoptic scale correction factor to produce a second data set and blending the second data set into a regional chemical model based on the weather fields to forecast the air quality.
