Abstract:
An integral transverse spring-axle combines the functions of both an axle and a suspension by locating the wheels laterally and longitudinally, in the manner of an axle, and allowing vertical displacements of the wheels, in the manner of a suspension. This is achieved with a leaf spring with a center portion, a pair of center leaves and at least one pair of side leaves both extending oppositely from the center portion. The outboard ends of the leaves attach to the wheel hub carriers/knuckles. The inboard center portion of the spring attaches to the chassis/body frame. The two opposite outboard ends of the spring-axle leaves can move independently of each other. The spring-axle can be of the steered or nonsteered type, and of the driven or non-driven type.
Abstract:
A fastener with a threaded nut, a clip, a first engagement feature and a second engagement feature. The nut has front and rear surfaces and a first lock structure that is disposed between the front and rear surfaces. The clip has a body, which defines an aperture, a second lock structure and an engagement member. The second lock structure is coupled to the body and engages the first lock structure to axially retain the clip to the nut. The engagement member extends into the aperture in the body. The first engagement feature is coupled to either the nut or the clip and comprises at least one tooth. The second engagement feature is associated with the other one of the nut and the clip and is engaged with the first engagement feature to inhibit rotation between the nut and the clip.
Abstract:
A spray device for use as a supplementary fluid output, having a mixing chamber for receiving and mixing fluid from two input supplies which supplies mixed fluid to a spray head through a flexible conduit. The relative proportions of input supplies received in the mixing chamber is controlled by a mix controller having a mix actuator which is connected to a mix valve associated with the mixing chamber by an upstanding rotatable sleeve. The spray device is mounted on a hole in a work surface by mounting means. The flexible conduit and the upstanding rotatable sleeve pass through the hole in the work surface and a bore in the mounting means. The mix controller may control the rate of fluid flow through the device.

Disclosed herein are systems and methods for syndication and management of structured and unstructured data to assist institutional healthcare delivery, healthcare providers' practices, healthcare providers' group practices, collaborative academic research and decision making in healthcare, including through the utilization of medical devices and healthcare pools.
Abstract:
The systems, methods, means, and computer program products disclosed herein provide a framework and tools for creating composite services from the array of services available as distributed, loosely structured, ad hoc, remote programming interfaces on the Internet. The framework includes metaservices for coordinating the execution of multiple services in a composite service, and also provides core services such as database management, security, financial transactions, media conversion, and so forth, to provide greater design latitude in the creation of new composite services from existing Internet content and services. The framework may be deployed to create new services and programming interfaces, or to deploy independent web applications constructed from available services.

Abstract:
A method and system of providing language interpretation for a merchant are disclosed. An incoming telephone call from a customer speaking a first language is received at a language interpretation service. The customer is greeted in the first language by an interpreter associated with a language interpretation provider. The interpreter telephonically engages a first agent representing the merchant, wherein the first agent speaks a second language and the interpreter translates a conversation between the customer and the first agent. Once the translation is completed, the first agent is disconnected from the call. Next, if the customer elects to be connected to a business partner of the merchant, the interpreter telephonically engages a second agent representing the business partner. The second agent speaks the second language and the interpreter translates a conversation between the customer and the second agent.
