    Abstract: The claimed subject matter provides systems and/or techniques that effectuate combining domain-tuned search systems. The system can include mechanisms that obtain queries, written descriptions, or illustrative web-pages regarding a particular area of interest, and generate a definition related to the area of interest. The definition contains a list of paths with associated weights employed to identify an pre-established first domain-tuned search system related to the area of interest. The first domain-tuned search system thereafter can be combined with a second domain-tuned search system related to another area of interest and presented to a user for utilization in re-ranking generic search results to be specific to the first and second domains of interest if combined, or to only the first domain if weights for the second domain are logically subtracted.

    Abstract: An architecture and techniques to enable a mobile device to efficiently classify raw sensor data into useful high level inferred data is discussed. Classification efficiency is achieved by tuning the mobile device's raw sensor data classification pipeline to attain a balance of accuracy, latency and energy suitable for mobile devices. The tuning of the classification pipeline is accomplished via a multi-pipeline tuning approach that uses Statistical Machine Learning Tools (SMLTs) and a classification cost modeler.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for realizing a video phone are provided. Wherein the method includes the following steps: the equipment on the local side establishes a physical path between the equipment on the opposite side and itself through a wireless data card (S102); the equipment on the local side performs interaction of control signals with the equipment on the opposite side through the established physical path and establishes a video phone path (S104); the equipment on the local side transmits the video signals and/or audio signals collected by itself to the equipment on the opposite side through the established video phone path and receives the video signals and/or audio signals from the equipment on the opposite side (S106). By the present disclosure, the user experience is improved, and the cost of the user is saved.

    Abstract: A micromechanical device including an improved sensing element and improved bending elements is described. Sensing elements include multi-layered structures which are thinner, lighter, and flatter than structures presently known within the related arts. Bending elements include structures which separately respond to illumination by an infrared source so as to twist a sensing element. Micromechanical pixels may be arranged to form two-dimensional arrays of infrared sensitive pixels.
