摘要： Modified BDNF having improved pharmacological activities, pharmacokinetics and physical properties can be obtained by modifying BDNF with a 1-acyl-glycerol derivative. This BDNF being modified with a 1-acyl-glycerol derivative of the present invention has more efficacious and more excellent pharmacokinetic properties with retaining the useful effects being characteristic to BDNF which are useful as remedies for neurodegenerative diseases and diabetes mellitus, and hence, it is particularly useful as a therapeutic agent for treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Particularly, it is a characteristic that a limiter in the demodulator comprises: a circuit for obtaining absolute values of the digital signals (I signal, Q signal) which are produced from an angle modulated wave and whose phases are mutually orthogonal; a circuit for outputting the sum (.vertline.I.vertline.+.vertline.Q.vertline.) of the absolute values or the larger one M(.vertline.I.vertline., .vertline.Q.vertline.) of the absolute values; a controller for producing a control signal according to an output of the above circuit; and scalers which change the amplitudes of the first and second digital signals in accordance with the control signal and which are constructed by a plurality of shift registers and adders.

摘要： In a selective calling circuit including a band-pass filter which may be constituted by an active filter, and a power source for energizing the filter, a control signal is generated which has a predetermined duration in accordance with the output of the band-pass filter at a point of time whereat the output of the band-pass filter reaches a predetermined level. In response to the control signal, there is established a state in which the center frequency of the band-pass filter can be changed, and the output of the power source is changed from a first level to a second level for a period of time substantially corresponding to the predetermined duration of the control signal. At the aforementioned first level, the band-pass filter may be energized, while at the second level, it may be deenergized.
