    摘要: An ink jet printer includes: an image forming section for forming an image by ejecting a pigment ink toward a recording medium in which a surficial layer includes thermoplastic fine particles, in a case; a fixing member for fixing the image by heating and pressurizing the recording medium on which the image is formed by the image forming section; a drying member for drying the ink used for forming the image before the image is fixed to the recording medium by the fixing member; a temperature detecting member for detecting a temperature in the case; a humidity detecting member for detecting a humidity in the case; and a drying member control section for controlling an operation of the drying member in accordance with the temperature detected by the temperature detecting member and the humidity detected by the humidity detecting member.

    摘要: As a result of studies on compounds having a selective inhibitory activity against 17βHSD type 5, the present inventors have confirmed that a {1-[(indol-2-yl)carbonyl]piperidyl}alkanol derivative has a potent selective inhibitory activity against 17βHSD type 5. The invention has been completed based on these findings. The compound of the present invention can be used as an agent for treating and/or an agent for preventing diseases associated with 17βHSD type 5, such as benign prostatic hyperplasia and prostate cancer, without accompanying adverse effects due to a decrease in testosterone.

    摘要: A liquid pump has a DC motor and a pump in a cylindrical casing. A pair of brushes are slidably contacted with a commutator of an armature while being biased by springs. The specific resistance of the positive brush is lower than the specific resistance of the negative brush to enable the voltage drop at the brushes to be decreased and motor efficiency to be increased without increasing commutator wearing speed.
