Abstract:
An electronic device paired with an infrared remote control, includes a display screen having a display area, at least one infrared emitter, at least one infrared receiver, a prism and a processing unit. A prism is adjacent to the at least one infrared receiver for converging the infrared rays from the at least one infrared emitter and the infrared remote control to the at least one IR receiver. A processing unit is for activating and then deactivating the infrared emitters one after another, identifying operations of a user on the display area by analyzing the interception of the infrared rays emitted from each of the infrared emitters, identifying operations of a user according to the infrared signals from the infrared remote control and executing corresponding functions associated with the operations of the user.
Abstract:
A computer and method tests a watchdog timer of a baseboard management controller (BMC) of a motherboard. The computer obtains a count value from the watchdog timer. The computer calculates an accuracy value according to a beginning time of countdown, and a stop time of the countdown. The computer determines if the accuracy value falls within the predetermined qualification range and displays a determination on a display device of the computer.

Abstract:
A simple and efficient electrolysis device for making electrolyzed water from pure water, comprising a controllable electrolysis power supply, an electrolytic electrode plate assembly connected to said power supply, said component being immersed within the to-be-electrolyzed water when in operation. A gap is provided between an anode and a cathode of the electrolytic electrode plate assembly, the gap distance being greater than 0 mm and less than 10 mm, said gap being designed according to the principle of optimal minimization, being less than 0.1 mm when necessary. The area of the surfaces, on either side of the gap, of the anode and the cathode of the electrolytic electrode plate assembly are designed according to the principle of optimal maximization, within the occupied set space. Also disclosed is a simple electrolysis method for making electrolyzed water from pure water.
Abstract:
A control sever electronically connects a test server via network interfaces. The test server includes multiple storage mediums that store multiple test programs for testing the test server. The control server includes a switching control unit. The switching control unit selects one storage medium from the storage mediums as a startup device of the test server, and sends a control command to run one or more test programs stored in the startup device. In response to receiving a test result from the test server, the switching control unit selects a next storage medium from the storage mediums as a new startup device, and runs one or more test programs stored in the new staring device until all the storage mediums have been selected as startup devices one by one.
Abstract:
A computer and method test a non-volatile random access memory (NVRAM) of a basic input and output system (BIOS) chip of a motherboard under a diagnostic mode and a stress mode. The computer sets parameters of the diagnostic mode and parameters of the stress mode in a basic input and output system (BIOS) chip of the motherboard. The computer initializes the diagnostic mode according to the parameters of the diagnostic mode and the stress mode according to the parameters of the stress mode. The computer tests the NVRAM of the BIOS chip under the diagnostic mode and the stress mode.
Abstract:
A light directing member for an infrared touch screen device is provided. The infrared touch screen includes a touch screen having a first side and an opposing second side, an infrared emitter for emitting infrared light beams toward the light directing element, and a plurality of infrared receivers arranged along the first side of the touch screen. The light directing member is positioned at the second side of the touch screen, and includes an outwardly curved surface facing the infrared emitter and a plurality of reflective slanted surfaces. The curved surface collimates the infrared light beams emitted from the infrared emitter into parallel infrared light beams. The plurality of reflective slanted surfaces are aligned with the respective infrared receivers, and for receiving and reflecting corresponding portions of the collimated parallel beams to the respective infrared receivers. A related device is also provided.
Abstract:
This invention presents a growth method for GaN based quantum wells red light LED structure by MOCVD epitaxy growth system, GaN based GaN/InGaN quantum wells red light LED structure material is obtained. The In mole fraction (x) for quantum well material InGaN is controlled between 0.1 and 0.5. This invention realizes the lumiscience of long wave length red light in group III nitrides. Aiming at the problem of difficulty in growing high In composition InGaN material, this invention solves this problem by controlling and adjusting the flux of organic Ga source and In source, growth temperature, time, and the flux of ammonia, and the mole ratio of N to Ga. By strictly controlling the conditions such as temperature and the flux ratio of reactant in the whole process, this invention determines the radiation wave length of quantum well, realizes the lumiscience of long wave length, and obtained GaN based GaN/InGaN quantum well red light LED structure.
Abstract:
A durable cover with a soft surface device (100) includes a substrate (10), an intermediate layer (20), an ink coating (30), and a top coating (40). The intermediate layer is made of a polyurethane paint. The ink coating contains a polyurethane component. The top coating is made of a polyurethane adhesive. The intermediate layer is applied onto the substrate, the ink coating is formed on the surface of the intermediate layer, and the top layer is formed on the surface of the ink coating and the intermediate layer. The presence of polyurethane in the intermediate layer, the ink coating, and the top coating promotes partial cross-linking therebetween and, thus, helps improve the durability of the cover. Further, the polyurethane contributes positively to the overall softness and flexibility of the cover.
