摘要: In the wire press-installing apparatus of this invention, the ram is lowered onto the joint block to press wires into rows of receiver terminals that are erected at specified pitches on the joint block of a wiring harness. The joint block is intermittently fed by a distance equal to the pitch of the terminal rows and only the predetermined wires are selectively taken out and seated into the associated rows of receiver terminals. This prevents wrong wires from being seated in unintended terminals or the joint block from being fed by a wrong pitch. The apparatus has a wire misinstallation detection mechanism, which consists of wire guides mounted vertically slidable on the lower front and back side of the vertically movable wire press-installing blade through a resilient member. When a wire is misinstalled, the lower ends of the wire guides abut against a misinstalled wire that has fallen from the receiver terminals onto the joint block, causing the wire guides to move up, activating an alarm circuit and stopping the lowering movement of the ram. This eliminates defective products and significantly improves work efficiency.

摘要: The disclosure is concerned with a pretreatment process for removing lignin from lignocellulosic material so as to enhance enzymatic or microbial decomposability of cellulose. The pretreatment process comprises wetting lignocellulosic material with an alkaline aqueous solution in a manner that interstices between the cellulosic material remain, and exposing the wetted cellulosic material to an ozone-containing gas so as to decompose lignin in the lignocellulosic material with a very small energy consumption.

摘要: The present invention relates to a process for digesting garbage or garbage contained wastes, particularly to a microbiological treatment which facilitates the treatment with high efficiency and economics, for the recovery of methane gas, first, by effecting an alcohol fermentation treatment by alcohol fermentative yeasts which can directly convert starch into ethanol without a starch hydrolysis pretreatment in the slurry state, followed by a direct methanization by methane bacteria of the fermented product containing ethanol, without effecting sterilization treatment of garbage or garbage contained wastes.

摘要: A process for the tertiary treatment of biochemical waste waters comprising the following 4 main steps; (1) adding milk of lime to waste water from the anaerobic digestion treatment process to render the waste water alkaline and recovering NH.sub.3 by reduced pressure distillation, (2) contacting recovered NH.sub.3 with a weakly acidic ion exchange resin to make NH.sub.3 adsorbed in the ion exchanger resin, (3) adding acid to the adsorbed ammonia to form an ammonia salt, and (4) blowing CO.sub.2 into the treated water from which NH.sub.3 has been removed, to thereby recover P, and subjecting the treated water from which N and P have been removed to the activated sludge treatment to remove BOD.

摘要: A thermoelectric conversion element includes: a magnetic layer; a conductive film formed on the magnetic layer and configured to generate an electromotive force in an in-plane direction by inverse spin-Hall effect; and two terminal sections formed to contact with the conductive film at two portions whose potentials are different to each other by the electromotive force. Each of the two terminal sections contacts with the conductive film in a continuous or discrete contact surface. A longitudinal direction of a minimum rectangle which encompasses the continuous or discrete contact surface of each of the two terminal sections intersects with the direction of the electromotive force.

摘要: The electrostatic chuck is made up of: a chuck main body having electrodes; a chuck plate of a dielectric material and having a rib portion with which a peripheral edge portion of the substrate is capable of coming into surface contact, and a plurality of supporting portions which are vertically disposed at a predetermined distance from one another in an inner space enclosed by the rib portion; and a gas introduction means for introducing a predetermined gas into the inner space. When the substrate is held by the electrostatic chuck which is arranged to attract the substrate by the chuck plate and to form a gas atmosphere by supplying a predetermined gas into the inner space, a current value is monitored by causing an AC current to flow in a capacitance of the chuck plate through an AC power supply, a gas flow amount is monitored by causing the gas to flow through the gas introduction means, and a substrate state is managed based on a variation in at least one of the current value and the gas flow amount to prevent damages to the substrate.
