摘要: A component mounting method including carrying in a circuit board to a component mounting position and carrying out the circuit board after component-mounting operation. The component mounting operation includes sucking up the component from the component feed section and moving the component to the mounting position, and mounting the component on a specified site of the circuit board. Also, a remaining-component discarding operation is performed to discard a component which remains at the suction nozzle during a specified time period following the component-mounting operation while the component mounting operation is stopped.

摘要: Method and apparatus for mounting electronic components in which components are efficiently fed and transferred for enhancing productivity is provided. Tray draw-out device (6) is disposed at a component feeding unit (4) for pulling out a tray (3) accommodating electronic components (2) from the component feeding unit (4) to a given pick-up position, where the electronic components (2) are transferred by the transfer mechanism (11) on to a temporary holder (8) disposed on a draw-out arm (7) of the tray draw-out device (6). Mounting head (5) has a plurality of mounting nozzles (5a), with which the mounting head (5) picks up several electronic components (2) aligned on the temporary holder (8) at a time and mount them on to a circuit board (1) which has been loaded and located at a prescribed position.

An action restriction part (24e) restricts a moving action of a moving stage (11) by an action control part (24a) in case the determination part (24d) determines that the combination of the type of the working head (H) which is currently attached to the moving stage (11) and the type of the working equipment which is currently mounted in a base platform (3) coincides with non of the combinations stored in the storage part (24c).

摘要: There is provided a paste application device which can solve problems of an increased exclusively occupied space attributed to an arrangement of a syringe and of deterioration of a tube.In a paste application unit 15 (a paste application device) for applying a paste 7 stored in a syringe 16 to an application target material, a configuration is adopted in which a pump mechanism 18 for sending the paste 7 under pressure is formed by causing a discharge thread portion 32b provided at a lower portion of a rotary member 32 to rotate about an axis AX within a discharge space 31b provided in a casing portion 31, in which a discharge port 17a, which communicates with the discharge space 31b, is provided at an end portion of the casing portion 31, and in which the syringe 16 is disposed coaxially with the rotary member 32 for detachable connection thereto. By adopting this configuration, the problems can be solved of the increased exclusively occupied space that would occur when the syringe 16 is disposed in parallel to the pump mechanism 18 and of deterioration of the tube.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a component mounting apparatus and a component mounting method in which a movement time of a nozzle can be shortened so that production efficiency can be improved. There is provided a control means for controlling movement positions and movement timings of a nozzle elevating means and a nozzle moving means. The control means stores positions and heights of obstacles located between a component supply unit and a circuit board in advance. The control means moves down a nozzle in sync with the time when the nozzle has finished passing over each obstacle after an electronic component has been photographed by a component camera. Alternatively, the control means moves the nozzle in a path to avoid the obstacles. In addition, in a component mounting region, the nozzle moves at a component mounting region movement height and the component is mounted by the nozzle moved down from the component mounting region movement height. Accordingly, it is possible to shorten an elevating stroke of the nozzle (5). In addition, the nozzle can be elevated in an arc trajectory.

摘要: The present invention is to provide a method and an apparatus for mounting components having a feature of detecting with high accuracy component pick up failure by the nozzle at component pick up stage, and/or component carrying back by the nozzle at component mounting stage. Achieved vacuum pressure is initialized to zero after completion of component pick up by the nozzle 25, and vacuum pressure decrease of the nozzle 25 is detected from the initialized zero point. If the detected value is bigger than the predetermined threshold, it may be judged that at least one of the nozzles failed to pick up a component. The failed nozzle may be identified by using a component recognition device 37. Blowing air blow volume flowing through the nozzle 25 is measured upon completion of component mounting. If the blowing air flow is smaller that the predetermined threshold, it is judged that the nozzle 25 carries back a component 30. Two thresholds may be used, and it may be judged that the component has been properly mounted if the measurement value is bigger than both thresholds, filter 22 is clogged if the measurement value is in between the two thresholds, and the nozzle 25 carries back the component if the measurement value is smaller than both thresholds.

A method of operating the component holding head comprises using the detecting device to detect movement of the shaft in the axial direction resulting from the shaft being driven by the motor, and controlling power supplied to the motor in response to the movement of the shaft as detected by the detecting device such that the distance that the shaft is driven by the motor in the axial direction is controlled.

摘要: According to the present invention, a control device and a circuit board moving device controlled in operation by the control device for holding a circuit board are provided, whereby the circuit board moving device is moved to bring a component mount position on the circuit board closest to a recognition device after the circuit board moving device is moved to bring the component mount position closest to a component feed position. In the state, a circuit board mark formed on the circuit board is detected, thereby recognizing a position of the circuit board. A transfer distance for the component by a component hold device from the recognition device to the component mount position is thus shortened, enabling high-speed mounting with higher accuracy.
