    Abstract: Wireless communications systems may support flexible waveform configuration for autonomous uplink transmissions. A base station may transmit broadcast signaling (e.g., a system information block (SIB)) indicating waveform configuration information for an autonomous uplink transmission by a user equipment (UE). In some cases, the broadcast signaling may include a waveform configuration field (WCF) that may indicate whether flexible waveforms for autonomous uplink are supported, may configure a waveform type, may indicate waveform configuration mapping rules, etc. As such, a UE may identify whether flexible waveform configuration for autonomous uplink is supported, and may determine waveform types for autonomous uplink transmissions based on waveform type configuration information from a base station (e.g., which may include an indication of whether flexible waveform configuration is supported, an indication of waveform type/scenario mapping rules, etc.), one or more LUTs, identified autonomous uplink scenarios, autonomous uplink transmission parameters, or some combination thereof.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) and a network entity may utilize multi-port mobility reference signals to assist with spatial based mobility procedures. The UE may receive a reference signal that is associated with multiple antenna ports. The UE may measure a multi-dimensional channel response based on the reference signal. The multi-dimensional channel response may be associated with measured channel metrics corresponding to the multiple antenna ports. The UE may transmit a report that includes a channel measurement vector based on the multi-dimensional channel response. The channel measurement vector may indicate multiple measured channel metrics for one or more dimensions of the multi-dimensional channel response. The network entity may transmit a message that indicates one or more metrics associated with mobility management for the UE based on the report that indicates the channel measurement vector.

    Abstract: Sequence selection techniques for Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) are provided. A User Equipment (UE) sends a request to a base station, the request indicating that the UE is to conduct at least one uplink transmission. The UE receives, in response to the request, an indicator of an expected system load, a value of the indicator including a total number of sequences expected to be used at one time for uplink transmissions in the system. The UE detects that at least two different pairs of sequences in a configured set of sequences have different cross correlation values, the sequences in the set configured for scrambling uplink transmissions. The UE selects, in response to the detecting and based on the indicator, at least one sequence with an improved cross correlation with at least one other sequence the at least one sequence and the at least one other sequence to be used for scrambling uplink transmissions within the system.

    Abstract: Disclosed are various techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may monitor a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring occasion defined by an active search space (SS) set. The UE may receive, during the PDCCH monitoring occasion, a downlink control information (DCI). In response, the UE may activate at least one deactivated SS set based on the DCI and a mapping that associates an SS set to a DCI type, DCI format, transmission direction, or specific combinations thereof. In another aspect, a UE may monitor a subset less than all of PDCCH monitoring occasions defined by an active SS set. The UE may receive, during a PDCCH monitoring occasion, a DCI. In response, the UE may monitor a larger number of PDCCH monitoring occasions defined by the active SS set.
