Abstract: A negative electrode terminal includes a flange, and a connection portion disposed on a first surface of the flange. The connection portion is inserted into a terminal attachment hole. The negative electrode terminal includes a first area made of aluminium or an aluminium alloy, and a second area made of copper or a copper alloy. In the flange, the second area is disposed adjacent to the first surface, and the first area is disposed adjacent to the second surface. A boundary between the first area and the second area is disposed between the first surface and the second surface. A thinnest portion of the first area of the flange in the thickness direction of the flange has a thickness of larger than or equal to 0.3 mm. An external electroconductive member made of aluminium or an aluminium alloy is welded to the flange to form a welded portion.

Abstract: An electrode body is disposed in a rectangular casing having an opening, and the opening of the rectangular casing is sealed by a sealing plate. A positive-electrode current collector is connected to a positive electrode terminal that extends through the sealing plate. A first positive-electrode tab group and the second positive-electrode tab group, which are connected to the electrode body, is connected to a surface of the positive-electrode current collector facing the electrode body. The first positive-electrode tab group and the second positive-electrode tab group are each disposed at an end portion of the electrode body adjacent to the sealing plate, and the first positive-electrode tab group and the second positive-electrode tab group are disposed so as to be bent in different directions.

Abstract: An electric storage device includes an electrode body including a plurality of first electrode plates and a plurality of second electrode plates, a first electrode output terminal, a second electrode output terminal, a first current collector, and a second current collector. The first electrode plates have first tabs that protrude from the electrode body and have conductivity and are connected to the first current collector. The first tabs are stacked to form a first tab stack, one surface of the first tab stack is in contact with the first current collector, and a first protective sheet is disposed on and in contact with the other surface on the side opposite to the one surface. On the periphery of the first protective sheet, there is a corner formed by two adjacent sides. At least the corner of the first protective sheet is joined to the first tab stack.

Abstract: A positive electrode collector has a part connected to a positive electrode terminal and a part connected to a positive electrode tab. An insulating plate as an insulating member disposed between the positive electrode collector and an electrode body is connected to the second region, and the second region is prevented from moving toward the first region after the fuse portion blows.
