Abstract: The present invention provides a viewing angle mode switching method of a liquid crystal display device and the liquid crystal display device. A viewing angle mode switching request is received. The target view mode is a first viewing angle mode or a second viewing angle mode. A timing relationship between the second scanning signal and the first scanning signal is adjusted, according to the viewing angle mode switching request. The liquid crystal display device is instructed to switch between the first viewing angle mode and the second viewing angle mode, according to a change of the timing relationship between the second scanning signal and the first scanning signal. With implementing the embodiments of the present invention, switch between different viewing modes can be achieved, and the display convenience of the liquid crystal display device can be improved.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a LTPS array substrate includes: forming a source electrode and a drain electrode on a substrate, forming a poly-silicon layer in a first region and a second region of the substrate including the source electrode and the drain electrode, such that the poly-silicon layer of the first region has a thickness greater than that of the second region and the poly-silicon layer of the first region partially covers the source electrode and the drain electrode; passivating a surface of the poly-silicon layer in order to turn a part of the poly-silicon layer of the second region and the first region that is adjacent to the surface into an insulating layer; and forming a gate electrode on the insulating layer between the source electrode and the drain electrode. The LTPS technical process is simple and can reduce the producing costs.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a wide viewing angle panel and a display device, in each row of sub pixels of the wide viewing angle panel, every three sub pixels constitute a pixel unit, which is arranged in an array, the pixel unit includes a first pixel unit and a second pixel unit, the brightness of the first pixel unit is higher than that of the second pixel unit, the area of the first pixel unit is equal to that of the second pixel unit, the first pixel unit and the second pixel unit are uniformly disposed on the array. The display device includes the wide viewing angle panel as descripted above. The present disclosure can increase the transmittance of the wide viewing angle panel, reduce the energy consumption of backlight, and make the design of the pixel unit distribution more flexible in the wide viewing angle panel.

Abstract: A thin-film transistor (TFT) switch includes a gate, a drain, a source, a semiconductor layer, and a fourth electrode. The drain is connected to a first signal. The gate is connected to a control signal to control the switch on or off. The source outputs the first signal when the switch turns on. The fourth electrode and the gate are respectively located at two sides of the semiconductor layer. Abstract: A liquid crystal display panel and its driving circuit, manufacturing method are disclosed. The driving circuit has a first switching element. The first terminal of the first switching element is connected to one data line of the liquid crystal display panel. At the array manufacturing process stage, the control terminal of the first switching element is input a first reference voltage. The second terminal of the first switching element is connected to a first discharge circuit. During the stage to drive the liquid crystal display panel to display or to test the liquid crystal display panel, the control terminal of the first switching element is input a first control signal. The second terminal of the first switching element is input a data signal. By the aforementioned ways, it can simultaneously achieve an ESD protection and to save the panel space to be favorable for narrow frame design.

Abstract: An LTPS array substrate and a method for producing the same are proposed. The method includes: forming an insulating layer, a semiconductor layer, and a first positive photoresist layer on the substrate one by one; exposing one side of the substrate on the opposite side of the gate for forming a polycrystalline silicon layer; forming a source and a drain of the TFT on the polycrystalline silicon layer; forming a pixel electrode on the insulating layer and part of the source; forming a plain passivation layer on a source-drain electrode layer; forming a transparent electrode layer on the plain passivation layer so that the transparent electrode layer is connected to the gate, the source, and the drain via the contact hole. The use of masks in types and in numbers in the LTPS technology will be reduced. So, both of the processes and the production costs are reduced.
