    摘要： In a fabrication machine of sea island type optical fiber having a plurality of wings by spinning, when a sea part polymer is insufficiently supplied into space between the adjacent wings to cause fusion of the adjacent wings, failing in producing an optical fiber having the desired optical characteristics. The present invention solved this problem. A guide member introduces the sea part polymer supplied from sea part polymer inlets into flow paths or slits between projection wings of a partition wall for a flow path control of an island part. A sufficient amount of sea part polymer is supplied to the space between the adjacent wings of an island part of the obtained optical fiber and an optical fiber having the desired optical characteristics can be obtained.

    摘要： A laser apparatus for medical treatment use in which a laser beam is irradiated on a portion of a human body to be treated comprises a laser beam generation unit for generating a laser beam of giant pulse, a laser beam guide member having one end through which the laser beam from the laser beam generation unit is guided, and a hand piece attached to another end of the laser beam guide member and irradiating the laser beam to the portion to be treated. A beam converging point is formed within a laser beam propagating path formed in at least one of the light guiding means and the hand piece and a stay of air is prevented from a predetermined region in the laser beam propagating path including at least the beam converging point at which the air stays. The predetermined region is positioned within the hand piece or the laser beam guide member. The air stay is prevented by means of producing a vacuum state, gas seal state or air flow state in the predetermined region.

    摘要： Disclosed herein is a spinning nozzle having one or more discharge openings and one or more introduction openings located upstream the discharge openings for producing pitch-based carbon fibers characterized by the presence of one or more spiral members in each introduction openings. According to the nozzle of the present invention, part of the pitch which is introduced to the introduction opening flows down along the spiral member while the flow of the pitch is affected by the spiral member. The remaining pitch flows into the discharge opening without being in contact with the spiral member, and then both are spun after being mixed through the discharge opening to prepare carbon fibers having a random structure. Especially, the carbon fibers of higher performances can be prepared when a spiral having uneven outer diameters is employed.
