摘要： In an electronic apparatus control system provided with: a plurality of electronic apparatuses connected to a network covering a predetermined area; and a controller for controlling these electronic apparatuses, the controller (11) is provided with: a generating device for generating a group key peculiar to the network (18) in order to encrypt the information flowing through the network (18); and a wireless unit (21) for transmitting the generated group key to a plurality of the electronic apparatuses. The electronic apparatus is provided with: a memory device for storing the group key transmitted; an encrypting device for encrypting the information flowing through the network (18) using the group key; and a decoding device for decoding the encrypted information using the group key. Owing to this construction, it is possible to present a copy protection improved in the maintainability and reduced in the cost, for protecting copyright effectively even in a case that information is flown out of the network (18).

According to the reproduction apparatus of the present invention, when there is selected a data group comprising data units, there are consecutively read out the first identification information for identifying the selected data group and the second identification information for identifying the data group recorded in the data unit, to which the data unit belongs, and there is reproduced information of the data unit having the second identification information identical with the first identification information.

摘要： An information reproducing apparatus has a read device, is capable of reproducing sub picture information and is also capable of performing a highlight display of the sub picture information. In an information record medium to be reproduced by this reproducing apparatus, at least the sub picture information and reproduction control information to control a reproduction of the sub picture information are recorded on the record track such that the sub picture information and the reproduction control information are divided into a plurality of groups. Each of the groups is a predetermined unit able to be accessed by the information reproducing apparatus, and has a sub picture pack in which the sub picture information is contained and a control pack in which the reproduction control information is contained. The reproduction control information includes (i) highlight display control information prescribing at least one of the highlight display of the sub picture information and an operation control corresponding to the sub picture information and (ii) time management information indicating times to manage a start time and an end time respectively of at least one of an effective time period during which the highlight display is effective and an effective time period during which the operation control is effective.

When the reproduction permission level and the reproduction management information are selected, the range of the reproduction permission level of the data groups which reproduction are permitted is detected on the basis of the reproduction permission level selected. Then, the data group is reproduced when the reproduction permission level of the selected data group is included in the range of the reproduction permission level detected.

The apparatus also has memory means in which music piece classification information of each of the music pieces recorded on the recording medium has previously been stored. An item content selection command to designate the contents of at least one of a plurality of different items included in the music piece classification information is generated in accordance with an operation. The music piece corresponding to the contents of at least one item indicated by the item content selection command is searched for by using the information from the memory means.

摘要： A karaoke reproducing apparatus for recording singing sound together with karaoke play sound, has a facility of printing information on the recorded musical program. The karaoke reproducing apparatus has a memory which contains previously stored recorded music information including at least the title, songwriter's name, and composer's name for each of musical programs recorded on the recording medium. In response to a recording start command, the recorded music information corresponding to a musical program selected by an operation is read from the memory, and output to a printer. Since recorded music information can be printed on a printed member such as a label and preserved as a record when singing sound is recorded together with karaoke play sound, the label, if adhered to a recording medium on which the sound is recorded, allows the user to readily know the recorded contents afterward. According to another aspect of the invention, a karaoke reproducing apparatus has a memory which contains copy right information on each of musical programs recorded on a recording medium. For a recording prohibited musical program, its karaoke play music can be prevented from being recorded so as to appropriately protect the copy right thereof.

摘要： A data transmission method in which both random errors and burst errors in data transmission are correctable. A block of data is written at three-dimensional addresses in a memory in a predetermined writing order such that a three-dimensional data arrangement is formed. Check words are added in at least two of the directions as error detecting or error correcting codes to thereby form an extended three-dimensional data arrangement. The data is then read out of the extended three-dimensional data arrangement in a predetermined reading order and transmitted as data arranged one-dimensionally. On the data receiving side, the data including the check words is written into a memory in the same order as the data transmitting side to form a three-dimensional data arrangement therein, and then read out in the same order as the data writing order on the data transmitting side. The data thus read is subjected to error correction as required.
