    摘要: A photoelectric sensor comprises a control unit which is configured to store in a memory data on the amount of received light input from a light-receiving unit or measurement data obtained by a measuring process, and to perform a sampling process in which the data stored in the memory are read at fixed intervals as sampling data, the sampling process being performed within a limited reading period. Further, the control unit outputs the thus read sampling data so as to correspond to the order in which they are stored in the memory.

    摘要: Light (111) emitted from a light source (110) is transmitted through an objective lens (140), reflected from an optical disc (10), transmitted again through the objective lens (140), and thereafter divided into central light (111A) transmitted through a central part of the objective lens (140) and peripheral light (111P) transmitted through a peripheral part of the objective lens (140) by a hologram (150). A central light FE signal (S212A) is generated from the central light (111A) and a peripheral light FE signal (S212P) is generated from the peripheral light (111P). In a focus search operation, an S-letter detector (221A) detects a time point at a zero level of the central light FE signal (S212A), and an S-letter detector (221P) detects a time point at a zero level of the peripheral light FE signal (S212P). A time difference is measured by a timer counter (222) in terms of elapsed time. Disc identification means (300) identifies a type of the optical disc (10) based on the time difference.

    摘要: A photoelectric sensor comprises a control unit which performs a measuring process for data on an amount of light input from a light-receiving unit. The control unit measures the length TPS of period (from point a to point d) from when measurement data starts to change in the direction of a threshold P0 to when the amount of received light returns to the level at which the measurement data started to change, and the length TON of period (from point b to point c) for which the detection signal is ON-level. The control unit then outputs information on a margin for TPS with respect to TON on a display unit provided for the photoelectric sensor or to an external device in order to display them.

    摘要: In an optical disc recorder, a time necessary for performing preparation processing prior to start of recording of signals on an optical disc after an instruction of start of recording is inputted is shortened. A search of power calibration area is started while the optical disc is revolved at a double speed of a normal revolution speed promptly when the optical disc is mounted on a revolution table. When the search of the power calibration area is completed, the optical disc recorder shifts to standby mode for waiting the instruction of start of recording. When the instruction of start of recording is inputted, a buffer starts to accumulate MPEG encodes signals generated by an MPEG encoder, and an optimum power control is carried out while revolving the optical disc at the normal revolution speed. When the optimum power control is completed, and the most suitable laser strength for the optical disc loaded on is found, the recording of the signals accumulated into the buffer onto the optical disc is started.
