    摘要: The process for producing an olefin polymer according to the present invention is characterized in that it comprises polymerizing an olefin having 3 or more carbon atoms in the presence of a catalyst for olefin polymerization containing a solid titanium catalyst component (I) which contains titanium, magnesium, halogen, and a cyclic ester compound (a) specified by the following formula (1): wherein n is an integer of 5 to 10, R2 and R3 are each independently COOR1 or a hydrogen atom, and at least one of R2 and R3 is COOR1; and R1's are each independently a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, and a single bond (excluding Ca—Ca bonds, and a Ca—Cb bond in the case where R3 is a hydrogen atom) in the cyclic backbone may be replaced with a double bond, and an organometallic compound catalyst component (II), at an internal pressure of the polymerization vessel which is 0.25 times or more as high as the saturation vapor pressure of the olefin at a polymerization temperature. According to this process, an olefin polymer having a broad molecular weight distribution can be prepared.

    摘要: The present invention provides an olefin polymerization catalyst, which is free of polyfunctional aromatic compounds and has a large particle diameter, and a solid titanium component (I) which forms the catalyst. The olefin polymerization catalyst comprises a solid titanium component (I), an organometallic compound (II) and optionally an electron donor (III) wherein the solid titanium component (I) comprising titanium, magnesium and halogen is obtainable by allowing a magnesium compound (A) having no reducing ability in a liquid state to contact with an ester compound (B) represented by the following formula (1) and a liquid titanium compound (C) in a specific order, wherein R2 and R3 are COOR1 or R, and at least one of R2 and R3 is COOR1, two or more R1 each are a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, and two or more R are a hydrogen atom, or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, and at least two of Rs may be bonded each other to form a ring, and the skeleton of the ring formed may include a double bond or a hetero atom.

    摘要: Disclosed are a propylene polymer having a high crystallinity of a boiled heptane-insoluble component contained therein, a high stereoregularity and an extremely long mesochain (continuous propylene units wherein directions of {acute over (&agr;)}-methyl carbons are the same as each other), and a process for preparing said polymer. Further disclosed is a propylene polymer composition comprising the above propylene polymer and at least one stabilizer selected from a phenol type stabilizer, an organophosphite type stabilizer, a thioether type stabilizer, a hindered amine type stabilizer a metallic salt of higher aliphatic acid. The propylene block polymer of the invention is well-balanced between rigidity, heat resistance and moisture resistance, and can be favorably used for sheet, filament, injection molded product, blow molded product, etc. The propylene polymer composition of the invention has excellent properties of the propylene polymer of or the propylene block copolymer, and moreover is excellent in heat stability during the molding stage, long-term heat stability and weathering resistance. The propylene polymer composition can be favorably used for sheet, film, filament, injection mold product, blow molded product, etc.
