Abstract:
A step unit comprises: a step member which is provided on the vehicle body side so as to be adjacent to a slide door of the vehicle and has a flat plate section on which an occupant's foot is placed; and a drive device which is affixed to the step member and drives the slide door to open and close the slide door. The step member is molded using a resin material and has a accommodation portion which is provided with a bottom formed below the upper surface of the flat plate section. The drive device is affixed while at least a part thereof is accommodated within the accommodation portion.
Abstract:
Brushes (20, 21) which come into slidable contact with slip rings (23, 24) having power feeding terminals (51, 53) electrically connected to a power feeding side include extending portions (32, 36) extending in the radial direction of a field core (3). These extending portions (32, 36) are bent in a direction away from a coil bobbin (12). The third bent portions (32c, 36c) located at the ends of the extending portions are electrically connected to the terminal portions (10d) of coil terminals. An outer diameter R1 of a mounting recess portion (3a) which stores a power feeding device (5) of the field core (3) is smaller than an inner diameter R2 of the coil bobbin (12). This makes it possible to position the mounting recess portion (3a) at a distance H from the coil bobbin (12) in the field core (3) in the arrow A direction, thereby reducing the size of the rotating coil type electromagnetic clutch (1) in the arrow A-B direction.
Abstract:
A sealing structure of a casing includes a housing having a flow path, a case having a flow path communicating with the flow path when combined with the housing, a tubular knock pin provided to fit to both of the housing and the case and surround the flow path in a joint portion between the housing and the case, and an FIPG holding portion provided on an outer circumferential side of the knock pin.
Abstract:
A molecular beam source for use of thin-film accumulation, for enabling to adjust the volume of molecular beam, which is discharged per an hour with using a needle valve, to be constant irrespective of decrease of a thin-film element forming material remaining within a crucible, comprises heaters 32 and 42 for heating the thin-film element forming materials “a” and “b” within crucibles 31 and 41, and valves 33 and 43 for adjusting the volumes to be discharged of molecules of the thin-film element forming materials “a” and “b”, which are generated within the crucibles 31 and 41. And, it further comprises a control means for adjusting openings of the valves 33 and 43 by means of servomotors 36 and 46 through feeding back of information relating to the volumes of molecular beams, which are obtained from film-thickness meters 16 and 26 for detecting the volume of molecular beams discharged towards the film-forming surface, a heating electric power source for supplying an electric power for heating the heaters 32 and 42, and a control means for adjusting an electric power to be supplied to the heating electric power source depending upon the information relating to the volume of molecular sources and information relating to openings of the valves.
Abstract:
An optical disk is configured as comprising a pair of substrates one of which has a recording layer borne thereon, the substrates being joined together through an adhesive so that the recording layer is interposed therebetween. In one form, one of the substrates is of glass, the other substrate is of a resin. In another form, both the substrates are of glass or resin. Delamination is prevented by using the adhesive having a specific glass transition temperature, Young's modulus, and dynamic loss factor.
Abstract:
A mold including a cavity the inner surface of which is at least partly coated with a layer selected from a diamond-like film and layers of fluorine and fluorine compounds. The mold is manufactured by a method which comprises placing at least a part of the mold which constitutes the surface portion of the mold cavity in a vacuum film-forming chamber, introducing a hydrocarbon gas into the chamber, ionizing the gas, and then evaporating it onto a desired surface portion of the mold, thus forming a diamond-like film over the mold portion. The mold portion is surface-treated by ionizing a low-molecular-weight fluorine compound into a plasma, forming a fluorine polymer film from the plasma on at least a part of the cavity surface, while applying a bias voltage to the plasma.
Abstract:
A disc molding apparatus capable of satisfactorily accomplishing the release of a molded disc without any trouble to eliminate deformation of the disc during the release and improve quality, reliability and productivity of the disc. In the disc molding apparatus, an air inlet port is provided in proximity to an outer stamper holder of an outer ring for supplying air toward a central region of a disc molded in a cavity of a mold body from a periphery of the disc and a communication passage communicating with the air inlet passage is provided at the outer ring, so that air may be more uniformly blown against the disc during the release of the disc from a stamper.
Abstract:
A hub to be attached to the central portion of a recording medium comprises a flat plate-like body made of a metallic material, and an annular resinous body firmly attached to the flat plate-like body by insert-molding, wherein at least one bent portion with an opening for connecting the annular resinous body to the flat-plate-like body is formed in the flat plate-like body so that the opening is in parallel to the upper or lower surface of the flat plate-like body.
Abstract:
A protective sheet for a cassette holding a magnetic recording tape comprises a transparent base which is coated with a hardened surface layer formed by bonding hard fine particles with a binder.
Abstract:
A magnetic tape cassette including a pressure pad which consists of a pad piece and a leaf spring holding the piece in place, characterized in that the leaf spring is formed, in one piece, of a pad-piece-holding portion supporting the back side of said pad piece, two wing portions and Y-shaped portions extending from the upper and lower edge sections of the both ends of said pad-piece-holding portion and joining said both wing portions is provided. The present pressure pad is capable of exerting a uniform pressure to a magnetic tape against a magnetic recording and reproducing head of a magnetic tape cassette recorder when said cassette is put in position of the recorder and the recorder is placed in the recording or reproducing mode.
