摘要: An electronic control unit 40 calculates a target output torque of an internal combustion engine 10 based on a manipulation amount of an accelerator pedal 60, a vehicle speed, and a state of a transmission gear ratio of an automatic continuously variable transmission 30, and calculates a target opening of a throttle valve 14 based on the calculated target output torque. If the current value of the transmission gear ratio of the automatic continuously variable transmission 30 is smaller than a predetermined value, the target opening of the throttle valve 14 calculated based on the target output torque is limited to be less than or equal to a preset upper limit.

摘要: When the engine output request is increased in a state in which the valve closing timing of an intake valve (9) is before intake BDC, a target value (LT) for the maximum lift of an intake valve is changed straight away, regardless of the actual air intake amount, to a value which makes the valve closing timing of the valve become a timing which is after the BDC and is spaced away from the BDC. In this case, by drive controlling a variable valve operating mechanism (14) based upon the target value (LT), the valve closing timing of the intake valve (9) is changed straight away from before the intake BDC to after the intake BDC, which shortens the time period in which, during this changing process, the valve closing timing of the intake valve (9) is present in the vicinity of the intake BDC_as much as possible.

摘要: An ECU acquires a fluid temperature, a coolant temperature and a soak time, and determines whether vapors have been produced in a fuel supply device on the basis of a vapor production prediction map. When the ECU determines that vapors have been produced in the fuel supply device, the ECU reduces a feedback gain. Subsequently, the ECU predicts a vapor production time, and, when the ECU determines that a vapor production end time has been reached, executes normal feedback control.

摘要: When a working angle of an intake valve is increased in accordance with a deficiency in a working fluid pressure of a VVT mechanism, an electronic control unit corrects an opening degree of a throttle valve so as to increase an intake air amount, and thereby restraining the intake air amount from decreasing in accordance with the increase in the working angle with a valve timing of the intake valve retarded, and hence suppressing a fall in an engine rotational speed.

摘要: A valve performance controller for use in an engine that performs ignition timing retardation control to prevent knocking. The controller variably controls valve performance of an intake valve in accordance with an operation state of the engine. The controller corrects a control target so that the compression end temperature of a combustion chamber decreases when a retardation amount of the ignition timing obtained through the retardation control is greater than a predetermined value. The correction is performed only when the engine performance degradation that would occur when the ignition timing is retarded in a state in which the control target is uncorrected is predicted to be greater than the engine performance degradation that would occur when the control target is corrected.
