    摘要: A utility knife is provided with a feature of easy replacement of the blade and a characteristic that the utility knife body halves are prevented from separating from each other. The utility knife has a lock which is able to enhance the assembly between the body halves, such that the user is able use the knife without worrying the two halves will separate with each other and endanger the user. The locking device has a retainer movably engaged with an inclined top face of a pressing stop, such that the retainer is forced to move. When the retainer moves, an extension is then alternatively and movably received in a receiving hole in the retainer to alternatively assemble the two halves.

Preferred devices detect, identify and quantify low levels of microorganisms in complex biological samples, such as blood. An exemplary device includes a housing having a fluid inlet that is in fluid communication with a plurality of channels, e.g., having substantially the same fluidic resistance. Each of the plurality of channels is in fluid communication with a reservoir containing reagents for analyzing cells, particles, or other analytes bound to particles, one or more substantially planar, porous membranes through which the cells or particles do not pass, and one or more outlets, wherein liquid flowing away from the inlet is divided between the plurality of channels and flows through the one or more membranes towards the outlet, and wherein the reservoir is disposed upstream of the one or more membranes.

A first direct contact condenser can be included in the upper section of a concentrator that removes acid gas from a rich solvent stream. A first slip stream can be heated in the first direct contact condenser and can be combined with the rich solvent stream in the lower section of the stripper. A second direct contact condenser can be included in the lower section of an absorber that removes acid gas from a feed gas. A second slip stream can be heated in the second direct contact condenser, and can be combined with the rich solvent stream before the rich solvent stream is provided to the concentrator.

    摘要: An integrated mortise lock trim mechanism is provided for mounting on the surface of a door and has a handle turning a spindle that extends into the door to operate a lock mechanism mounted therein. The trim assembly is pre-assembled and has a retracting spindle that extends between the trim mechanism and the lock mechanism to accommodate varying door thicknesses. The preferred assembly utilizes a cover plate, spring and mounting plate assembly holding a pair of alignment through bolts. This assembly is fit onto a door handle and secured to the door handle by a cap nut. An elongated spring is disposed in the handle and is secured to a spindle which axially extends from the handle. The spindle is automatically retracted or extended to optimally fit into the hub of a mortise lock.
