A label for in-mold forming is provided which is excellent in strength, water resistance, and adhesion strength, is usable in both indoor and outdoor applications and even in water, and can be used for containers for frozen foods, industrial products, various containers for chemicals, manufacturing process control applications, physical distribution management applications, tote boxes, etc. Also provided is a thermoplastic resin container bearing the label. This label for in-mold forming has the function of an IC label and has a surface which can be printed. It is free from the fear about security that the IC chip or antenna disposed therein may be seen through. When the label is bonded to a thermoplastic resin container, the IC chip and antenna disposed therein are not damaged in the process. The label for in-mold forming, which is for use in in-mold forming, comprises: a thermoplastic resin film (1) having a heat-sealable layer (1a); a thermoplastic resin film (2) which is printable; and an antenna and an IC chip for non-contact data sending/receiving, the antenna and the IC chip being interposed between the thermoplastic resin film (1) and the thermoplastic resin film (2).

Disclosed is an in-mold labeled thermoplastic resin container specifically so designed that the ratio of the product A of the Gurley stiffness (m·kgf) and the 3% elongation load (kgf) of the label-edge part of the labeled area thereof to the product B of the Gurley stiffness and the 3% elongation load of the label-surrounding part of the non-labeled area thereof, A/B, is at most 0.6. The container has good drop impact fracture resistance and has good producibility, and it is lightweight.

The invention provides a porous resin film having a good absorption of water content as a solvent for aqueous ink or aqueous paste and a recording medium comprising the porous resin film. The recording medium is characterized by the capability of absorbing an ink without density unevenness even during ink jet recording if the ejected amount of ink is great. The invention lies in a porous resin film comprising: a thermoplastic resin in an amount of 30 to 90% by weight; and an inorganic and/or organic finely divided powder in an amount of 10 to 70% by weight, wherein the inorganic and/or organic finely divided powder is surface-treated with a surface treating agent (A) made of a copolymer of diallylamine salt or alkyl diallylamine salt (a1) with a nonionic hydrophilic vinyl monomer (a2) and an anionic surface treating agent (B), and the porous resin film has a liquid absorption capacity of not smaller than 0.5 ml/m2 as measured by “Japan TAPPI No. 51-87”.

A process for bleaching color photographic sensitive materials and color photographic sensitive materials are disclosed. The process comprises bleaching the silver halide color photographic sensitive materials which are comprised of a support base, a silver halide emulsion layer, and a compound represented by the general formula (I) or strong acid salts thereof in a layer which does not substantially form silver salts of said compounds with a treating solution containing persulfate after being exposed to the light and carrying out color development: ##STR1## wherein M represents a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal atom, an alkaline earth metal, a quaternary ammonium group, a quaternary phosphonium group, an amidino group or ##STR2## R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each represents a hydrogen atom or an aliphatic group, and m represents an integer of 2 to 4. The bleaching process effectively bleaches color sensitive materials having a high silver content and/or a colloidal silver layer without creating a bad odor.

An object of the present invention is to provide recording paper and label paper with excellent waterproof properties, reduced curling from heat when used as recording paper in a heat-fixing type electrophotographic printer, a heat-fixing type electrophotographic copier or a direct heat-sensitive printer, excellent paper delivery properties, and capable of providing continuous printing of multiple sheets. A further object of the invention is to provide recording paper and label paper with excellent waterproof properties as the base materials of masking seals and re-covering-preventing labels, and requiring no special process to start peeling. The present invention provides recording paper comprising resin film (A) containing a thermoplastic resin, and at least one of inorganic fine powder and an organic filler, wherein the heat of crystallization is 60 J/cm3 or lower, and label paper using the same.

A porous resin film which comprises 30 to 90 wt % of a thermoplastic resin containing a hydrophilic thermoplastic resin component; and 70 to 10 wt % of an inorganic or organic fine powder was disclosed. The porous resin film of the present invention is valuable as an ink-jet recording medium since the film shows excellent ink absorbing and drying properties even when a large amount of ink is discharged thereon, and thus can produce thereon a high-definition image.

A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed. The material is comprised of a support base having a plurality of silver halide emulsion layers positioned thereon. The material includes at least one silver halide emulsion layer having a particular sensitivity and color sensitivity, and a second silver halide emulsion layer having the same color sensitivity but having a greater sensitivity with respect to light, the second layer including a silver halide having a silver iodide content in the range of 9% by mol to 15% by mol. The material includes a DIR compound in a layer other than the second silver halide emulsion layer. The DIR compound releases a diffusible development inhibitor or precursor thereof by a coupling reaction. The resulting material has greatly improved granularity and sharpness.
