摘要： An optical fiber connector includes a ferrule, an inserted optical fiber, an external optical fiber, and a pair of reinforcing members that pinches and reinforces a fusion-spliced portion of the other end portion of the inserted optical fiber and the front end portion of the external optical fiber. The reinforcing members include adhesion layer on the inner surface thereof which comes in contact with the other end portion of the inserted optical fiber and the front end portion of the external optical fiber. The adhesion layer is depressed at the position where the inserted optical fiber and the external optical fiber come in contact with each other so as to closely adhere to the outer circumferential surfaces of the optical fibers in the fusion-spliced portion.

摘要： A pressure-receiving plate for a friction device includes an annular portion and pawls formed integrally on the inner or outer periphery of the annular portion. The annular portion has one side provided with a friction surface which contacts a friction disk engaged with one of a driving member and a driven member, and another side provided with reduced-thickness portions formed by applying crushing work that takes hardness and surface roughness of the friction surface into consideration. The pawls are engaged with the other of the driving member and driven member.

摘要： In this computer system, a plurality of processing elements (PE), each having at least two channel processors which manage corresponding communication channels separately, are connected in a ring via the channel processors to form a processing element loop (10). Some of the processing elements are designated as process managers (SM.sub.1 -SM.sub.n) which manage the corresponding process frame groups (20) comprising a predetermined number of process frames. At least one other element is designated as a master manager (MM) which manages those process managers. The respective process managers (SM.sub.1 -SM.sub.n) each allocate a predetermined process to any one process frame of the process frame group (20) which that process manager manages in accordance with each requirement from the master manager (MM) to cause that process frame to execute the predetermined process. Thus both of the function and load decentralizing functions as a computer system are satisfied on the basis of the function of the master managers (SM.sub.1 -SM.sub.n) and process manager (MM).

摘要： A speed ratio control system for a stepless variable speed transmission of vehicles having an electronic fuel injection control system. A speed ratio control signal for controlling the speed ratio of the stepless variable speed transmission is produced from the output fuel injection control signal from the electronic fuel injection control system and a target fuel injection quantity signal from an electronic arithmetic unit which generates the target fuel injection quantity signal in response to a throttle opening indication signal. The output fuel injection control signal is compared with the target fuel injection quantity signal to generate the speed ratio control signal which controls the speed ratio of the stepless variable speed transmission until the fuel injection indicated by the fuel injection from the electronic fuel injection system becomes equal to the target fuel injection quantity.
